Merry Christmas Lance! So nice of you to ask. Have you read the book? Are you from Abertillery?
One night just before I went to sleep, I prayed and asked God what my next book should be about. When I woke in the morning the words 'Welsh Revival' came to me. I sat down at the computer and put Welsh Revival into Google search. The very first article I read was from the BBC https://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religi... The opening lines to this article are, Just after eleven o'clock on a Wednesday evening in 1904, a solo voice rang out with the hymn "Here is love vast as the ocean". Maybe a thousand people were in Ebenezer Baptist Church, Abertillery at the time, leaning over the galleries, packing every pew and squeezing into every spare corner. As soon as I read it I knew that was where my story would start. I then spent about 6 weeks researching the revival and also reading books written by people who lived in those days, to make the story as authentic as possible.
I would love to know if you enjoyed the story. Thanks so much for taking the time to ask the question, hope you don't mind the long answer. Wishing you all the best, Tracy(less)

So far I haven't really had writer's block. My problem is always trying to find the time to write.
If I do ever stumble a bit though, I stop, leave the pc and do something else. Whilst doing 'something' else, like washing the dishes or driving or shopping etc I go through the problem in my head. What can I see, how do I feel? What are my characters up to and why?
Then when I go back to the pc it all flows again.(less)

New fantasy book

I'm so excited that my latest fantasy book, Leona & the Crown of Llangollen is now on preorder!
I have set the publish date to Dec 2023, but I'm very much hoping to have it released in Sep, super excited about this book.

It is the fourth book in the Born to Be series, however, it can actually be read as a standalone as well.

With no desire for fame or glory, only one thing can bring Leona to her dest Read more of this blog post »
