Barbara Pinke writes children's picture books for younger children (Waves & Tales stories and FunFact ABCs) and chapter books for the olders (Magilicious Journeys).
She has a BA in Human Resources and an MA in Communication and Media. Barbara is an HR professional by day and an author by night.

Her first book, the Fish who Wanted to Dance With the Stars received the B.R.A.G medallion and the Royal Dragonfly Book Award (Honorable Mention) in the Picture Book category.

She loves to create stories and spice them up with adventures and fun - especially if it involves discovering new places!
