When Erica Knight arrives in Lebombo Game Reserve for her first African safari she has no idea that her life is about to be changed forever. As an executive for a mining company she believes that negotiating the mining rights for the Lebombo Reserve will be a slam-dunk, but she didn’t count on locking horns with the reserve’s enigmatic owner, Jean-Luc de Graaf.
In the heart of a wild African landscape full of beauty and danger, Erica and Jean-Luc both stubborn and passionate find themselves on opposite sides of an escalating conflict. With the Reserve threatened by vicious poachers and runaway fires, they are thrown together unable to contain the scorching attraction between them.
Far away from the rat race of New York Erica feels the stirring of a different drum, ancient and irresistible. But surrendering to the wild would mean she would have to submit to the powerful attraction to Jean-Luc and she isn’t ready to give up control just yet…

**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**
I really struggled with this one. It is a sweet sexy read, however it did very little for me and i felt that the ending of the book felt a little rushed.
The story is set over a week and very much has that instal-love thing going on that just fell a little flat for me, i'm not just sure if its the authors writing style, or that i just was not really in the mood for the book.
The location of the setting is lovely and it tackles with the issue of poaching, i just don't think i really got the chemistry between them.
I feel bad as there is nothing fundamental wrong with the book, i just did not connect with it.
Starting this book, I was immediately drawn to the setting. Having the story take place in the African landscape was a unique decision and created a setting unlike any that I have read in a romance to date.
And then there are our main characters, Erica Knight and Jean-Luc de Graaf. Woooooooah are they stubborn—which can only mean interesting things are to come from this relationship *wide grin* Some of Erica’s background seemed to get lost (I had wondered at one point if this was to be a prequel, or part of a larger series), but in the end it was clear the story was focusing on the here-and-now first and foremost.
The story itself was very fast-paced, which was both good and bad. The fast plot kept everything flowing and the action constant, so there wasn’t ever really a dull moment. However, I would have loved to have had more. Everything felt so immediate and instant, which may appeal to a lot of readers. I, however, am a big fan of the slow-burn romance. If you are looking for a quick, sexy read, this could be the book for you!

Audrey Flynn’s My African Craving is set for publication on September 5, 2018, and is available for pre-order here. I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I really enjoyed being swept away to a hot destination with this book. It's a love story and intrigue blended into a heady mix. The hero has a bit of history and it was nice reading about someone who isn't perfect (and even that turns out to be for all the right reasons). The heroine is pulled out of her everyday life and reconsiders what is really important to her and her future. I loved the part where she got to play a hand in the local community. Highly recommend this book for a lazy afternoon read!
This book is all set in a African Game reserve and is the story of Erica Knight a mining executive and Jean-Luc de Graaf the owner of Lebombo Game Reserve. These are two stubborn individuals and they throw sparks of one another right from the get go. Will they have a chance to make a go of it together or will his past get in the way and will she be able to let go enough to unwind enough to embrace the changes in her life
This is a fast paced story with plenty of thrilling times to keep you engaged in the book to the very end
I enjoyed this steamy romance. Jean-Luc is a game warden and reserve owner. Erica works for a mining company that wants to mine on the reserve. There were good descriptions and interactions between the main protagonists My only criticism would be that it wound up very quickly at the end.
I would certainly look for other books by this author and recommend this book for an evenings dip into an African adventure.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thank you Netgalley for this book . This book was a complete and utterly incredible ride. It is a journey you do not want to miss. I loved the setting. I loved the writing. I loved the tone and the atmosphere of the book. My second fave book of African setting after the Mists of the Serengeti by Leylah Attar
First time reading from this author. African journey romance story, it is a page-turner. Incredibly strong characters. A well-written book. It was a pleasure to read this book. I voluntarily read and review an advanced reader copy of this book.
Thank you Netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This was a quick, love at first sight type novel. Jean luc lives in Africa and fights to protect its wildlife from poachers and business people trying to destroy the land. Unfortunately, the heroine is one of those people. They can't fight their attraction for each other even though they are on opposite sides of the issue. Good thing Jean luc helps her see the beauty in the land and its people. Nice, quick romance.
