Born and raised in Western Washington, Subject BGD grew up with horses, and dirt bikes. As an adult, she is huge into gaming. Tabletop games dominate her non-writing life, though video games also hold a special place in her heart.

Writing the Shattered Lives Chronicles helped Subject BGD process devastating events, some of which nearly destroyed her. It was her outlet. A coping mechanism for when the world felt like it was crashing down around her. This world saved Subject BGD's life more than once, and she hopes others find the strength she did within its pages.
