Larry is a first generation American. His mother was born in Yugoslavia (Now called Croatia). He is a Vietnam era Veteran and served eight years active duty in the U.S. Navy. He was stationed at Quonset Point, Rhode Island, Rota, Spain, USS Iwo Jima LPH-2, TAD to Guantanamo Bay Cuba, attended Navy schools in Glynco, Georgia and Memphis, Tennessee.
Larry graduated Hammond High School in Hammond, Indiana in 1970. He attended both Purdue Calumet Campus and NIU universities. He was an Air Traffic Controller until he lost his dream job on what he still affectionately calls Kamikaze Night, August 3rd, 1981 - the night the union went on strike and he lost he job. I completed my sci-fi, The Raygin War and published it on Amazon. It is available in Paperback or ebook formats. It is a futuristic story about what happens after first contact with an alien race that evolved from Carrion beetles.
