So far, the difficulties I've had writing a given story have always proven to be a matter of not having the right information. When I let go and focus on something else, mostly the right answer comes to me, even in the most unexpected ways. The Apprentice Storyteller, for example, is a book I got stuck on over and over again, and I almost gave up on it, but one day during my certification training to become a transformational life coach, the penny suddenly dropped and I understood what was missing from The Apprentice Storyteller.

The answers to a "block" often come to me while walking in nature, or keeping busy with my hands. I love crafts and cross-stitching, which give my mind time to work through whatever is proving difficult in my writing(less)

The Bloodbath Continues

The Last Vasa series: Insight and Inspiration

In Sweden, up until recently, crime has been the province of crime thrillers, which are the country’s national genre. Yes, there has been a long history of drug crime, but in comparison to other places in the world, it’s always been pretty low key, especially when it comes to the violent crime that goes hand in hand with the drugs.

All of that has change

"This book took me over a week to read because it's huge and I didn't want it to end. I'd somehow convinced myself this was going to be a duology and was originally disappointed that it wouldn't be done. But so much great stuff comes to light in this " Read more of this review »
