Summer's Road is a change of pace from what I've been reading lately. Summer Quinn, at first, was annoying to me. But as the story progressed, I started to care for her, and at times, relate to her. I was extremely envious of the loyal friends she had in life. How awesome that she had these people? Falling in love with her best friend, Ian, made a great story. Ian's ongoing love for Summer was always there, even though it took Summer a while to notice. I enjoyed the other points of the story: the estranged mother, Summer's work with sick children, her art. This all made for an enjoyable book. When I say it was a change of pace - that was in a good way!

Wow! What an emotional roller coaster this book is!!
Summer is the type of heroine we don't usually see in books. She has depression issues, but she tries to overcome them throughout the story. Ian is pretty much a knight in shining armor, with a touch of Alpha in him. I loved seeing both of them grow through out the story, and both seeing what they needed to really do to get back to the point of trusting each other. This book had me laughing at some points, and in tears throughout. Kelly Moran has a way of drawing you in, and has you feeling the emotional turmoil her characters are living. If you are looking for a phenomenal read, this is the book you need!!
