A WARRIOR TOO ELUSIVE TO CAPTURE
He's a Scottish Laird who lives in a world with Druid magic and ancient customs, hand fasted to the sister of his rival clan, MacDougall. Alasdair thought he was doing the right thing trying to bring peace to the region. But he is murdered on the eve of his wedding. Not willing to accept his death, his mother, a Druid priestess, performs a geas to keep him alive. But something went awry because, as the last word of the geas was spoken, Alasdair is trapped in time where he wanders the earth for centuries. The only one who can bring him back home is his betrothed. He has given up on ever finding her until she walks into his office in twentieth century Manhattan.
A WOMAN TOO STRONG WILLED TO TAME
Coira Ainsley is a happy-go-lucky young woman living in twenty-first century Manhattan. Her job as a travel agent takes her all over. She loves the work she does and is excellent at it. That is until she follows her client into his office and finds herself in the fourteenth century at Inveraray Keep in the Highlands of Scotland. At first, Coira thinks a prank is being played on her until she sees the giant, wearing nothing but a kilt and a studded leather strap across his massive chest approach her. Not one given to swooning, Coira finds herself welcoming the darkness that come over her as she loses consciousness, without learning that the naked giant is her betrothed from another time… another place. Will she give in and accept what has been pre-destined or will she fight to get back to the life she knows and loves?

Sexy Highlander Romance
This is a story of epic love! The setting is vibrant and well-researched, and I loved the characters. Coira reminded me of one of my friends. She seemed so real! And Alasdair—*swoon* He’s everything you want in a hot, rugged alpha male. I’ll be thinking about this man for a long time. Hehe! And the love story is just beautiful. I couldn’t put it down. If you enjoy tales of timeless love and dazzling men who know what they want, you have to read this book!
EXCELLENT HISTORICAL ROMANCE
This is indeed an excellent historical romance. I was drawn into the story from the intro. I love the way the author describes the highlander and the way she had his old Scottish accent coming through in the dialogue. The interaction between the two main characters, Alasdair and Coira was sizzling from the first chapter, but the author plays it along until I wanted to say, enough already. I’ve read a couple of books by this author, and I know she writes steamy, passionate scenes. I was expecting it in this book, and she didn’t disappoint. The scenes were scorching, the kilt wearing highlander came through loud and clear, even the younger brother, Tris was hot. I hope she gives him his own story. But all scorching scenes aside, I love the history bit and the dialogue when the Scots communicated with each other. I could close my eyes and hear them, that’s how real the entire thing was. Great job, Ephraime. Lovers of medieval romance will not be disappointed in this book.
It could have been better
The storyline was great but there were a lot of times where the author didn't transition one event to the next so i was consistently confused as to what was going on. A lot more could have been added to see both characters build a connection. I rather felt like it was rushed and not well organized.
