Great book. SO SHORT

This book is so good. It has many comparisons to Fifty Shades I cant lie (some things seemed almost copied) but thats probably why I loved it so much. The characters and plot are so good however why the heck is the book so short! This us the type of story you want to cuddle in bed and read for hours, but to my surprise it ended WAY sooner than expected. If it was longer this would be 5 stars.

Excellent Story..

Absolutely loved the story. It had everything I look for in a good romance book. I'm not typically one to complain about length or be upset when an author chooses to make their story a trilogy (I love to keep reading about my favorite characters!) but this book only has around 200 e-pages and while the story flowed well, it could have had more to it - especially for the cost. Don't get me wrong, I'll totally purchase the next one and would never take stars away because of it, but I think the price is very high for the amount of story. Otherwise, great book!

An honest review.

He accomplished that all in one night. It was too easy.

At first, his dominant nature captivates her, but it isn’t clear if the force of his powerful desire will ultimately awaken or dispel the demons Brynne is carrying inside. There are secrets on both sides of this relationship—huge ones. Can Ethan erase the scars of Brynne’s past so that she can reveal her true self to him? These secrets were never revealed. Brynne had a nightmare and a mention of a scar. Ethan had some scars but no other indications as to what troubles them. Brynne has security with her and no idea as to why she needs protection.

Byrne can't seem to keep her mind on anything other than sex with Ethan. I feel like I missed a section of material between Ethan and Brynne. We go from these two meeting at the art exhibit to him giving her a ride home, him asking her to dinner, and then they kiss. Ethan conquered all this in the time span of one day. Brynne is acting like a wanton hussy when in the presence of Ethan. Brynne has only been in the presence of Ethan twice and made these quick observations about him as if she is so familiar with his mannerisms. How can Brynne be so sure of Ethan's abilities when she just met him? His physical appearance does not make him a sex God in the bedroom. It was unnecessary to go into such raunchy detail of them shagging. A little modesty goes along way for the imagination. Do women actually enjoy when a man informs a woman that he can't wait to shag her and spend all night inside her? Here we go again with those words, "you are mine". Need new dialogue. This phrase is so overused that it has no affect on me anymore except to make me roll my eyes set its obscurity. How rude to shag a woman and leave her standing against the wall while his semen runs down her leg. How romantic. He could at least get a wash cloth and clean up his mess. How rude.
