Amanda Knight

A writer of romantic suspense, my hope, is that when you read my books, you’ll be cheering for the triumph of the human spirit whilst running to lock your doors!

Raised in suburban Sydney, as a kid, I loved to escape the bright lights and visit the home of my mother’s rural roots, deep in Sydney's Blue Mountains, or historical Bathurst - the dusty cattle country my father's family hails from.

Ramshackle farmhouses, wonderfully unique community characters (both animal and human!) and paddocks fringed with mysterious bushland, provided an endless canvas of sensory delights and unending fodder my writerly imagination ... And still does!

For as long as I can remember, I've been intrigued by the machinations that motivate human behaviour, particularly crime - and am a little partial to a man in uniform - so it seemed only natural that I study psychology and, well, marry said man in uniform!

When I'm not writing about psychopaths, soldiers and police officers, or love and loss in small town communities, I fill my cup in the field of people and culture development... spending my days helping people be the best version of themselves!

I live in a beautiful beachside suburb in Sydney, Australia with my husband, our three children, a cranky (but still loveable) cat and the most gorgeous golden retriever dog that ever lived.
