Barry Stranack

Barry Stranack was born in Durban, South Africa in 1945, and grew up in the then Rhodesia. Barry served with the Rhodesian Light Infantry, the renowned 5 Command 'Wild Geese' of the Congo, the Rhodesian Regiment and the counter insurgency Special Forces Rhodesian Selous Scouts. After a long military career he studied Chiropractic in the UK.
His passion is writing spy and counterintelligence novels which are mostly based on fact. Barry's first book was his autobiography "Demand a Brave Heart", since having published his first book, Barry has continued to write thrilling spy novels. He now lives in Pretoria, South Africa.
