Phillip Davis

I am an elementary school teacher. I have been a paperboy, dishwasher, bookseller, barista, apple picker, customer service manager, rental company manager, flooring installation manager, salesman, retail merchandiser, grocery-warehouse picker, house painter, convenient store clerk, supplement seller, and more.

I have two brothers between whom I am the middle child.

I was born in upstate New York, spent my elementary school years in Pennsylvania, graduated high school in Massachusetts, met my wife while living in Florida, migrated to Tennessee, and have lived in Ohio since 2011.

My first book “Peppermint Lightning” was published in 2014.

I do most of my rough drafting in November as a participant in National Novel Writer’s Month. I owe that event my motivation to get started and my wife for the motivation to keep going.
