"What a long, strange trip it's been" - Grateful Dead
My life, thus far, has been beyond blessed. I've finally written the books that have been floating around my mind for quite some time.
My style isn't for everyone. It's for people who don't take life too seriously. The smart-alecks amongst us. If you're looking for Wuthering Heights, keep on moving.
While writing, I've continued owning and operating Michigan Sports Academy-Livingston, a baseball/softball training facility in my hometown, as well as spending the summers as the Field Director for the Detroit Tigers Youth Summer Camps.
Previously, I coached small college baseball for 17 years, spending many years as a Sports Information Director as well. I have coached since 1992, and in addition to my time at the collegiate level, I coach at the varsity high school level for an decade.
I was a small-town newspaper reporter and editor - winning Newspaper of the Year for Class C weeklies in 2002 from the Michigan Press Association - after spending much of the 1990s working in politics.
My sons seem particularly interested in the handful of years I was a mobile disc jockey.
I've been married to my fabulous and beautiful wife, Debra, since 1997 and have three aforementioned sons.
Thanks for reading this!
