Harriet Gaywood

Harriet Gaywood moved to China from the UK in the 1990s and built a career in public relations and communications. Holding four separate masters degrees in Chinese Music; Mass Communications; Business Administration; and International Affairs with Cybersecurity; Harriet has always loved exploring and visiting new places. Working both in consultancies and in-house corporate roles, after nearly 30 years of desk-bound life, she changed her lifestyle to set up her own communications consultancy, creating greater flexibility to enjoy trail-running and participate in trail races. As one of the few foreigners attending races in China, Harriet started writing to share her experiences and encourage others to join. In addition to writing about trail-running, Harriet also writes about business topics such as AI and ethics and is a regular speaker on public relations-related topics.
