About
James Gallahan is a multi-genre writer living in Northern Virginia with his wife.
He has short stories published in the Cat & Mouse Press anthologies, Beach Mysteries, and Beach Pulp, the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group anthology, Rewriting the Past, and Pilcrow and Dagger literary magazine, The Survivor.
James was a finalist in the Writer’s Digest May 2018 Your Story competition and won the Grey Wolfe Publishing’s June 2018 monthly writing contest.
His short story, “Tiny Solves the Case,” received a Judge’s Award in Beach Mysteries.
“Missing in Rehoboth,” in Beach Pulp was a semi-finalist in the 2019 ScreenCraft Short Story contest. Beach Pulp received second-place honors, collection of short stories by multiple authors, and honorable mention for book design at the National Federation of Press Women’s annual communications awards ceremony. It also won first-place awards for book design and collection of short stories by multiple authors, and received second place for book editing by the Delaware Press Association.
James is a member of the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group, and the James River Writers.
