I've been a writer and storyteller my whole life but I didn't become an author until I wrote my Dad's biography. I am an avid reader, baseball fan and health care advocate. I am an author with a mystery series called ZEB HANKS: Small Town Sheriff Big Time Trouble. (16 books), private investigator series called The Half Moon Bay series (1 books) and a Catholic Church private investigator team series, The Saint Anselm Mystery series (2 books)

Zeb came into being because of my interest in desert wilderness hiking. My wife and I have spent a great deal of time over the past 30 years roaming the desert and other terrains of southeastern Arizona from December to May. A chance meeting with an old time colorful sheriff led me to develop the Zeb Hanks character and the world that surrounds him. I return often to SE Arizona for inspiration, information and to maintain the general feel of the area, learn its history and understand the local residents.
