M Lynes

M Lynes is the pen name of Michael Lynes. He had a long career in international education and has lived in South-east Asia and the Middle East. The Isaac Alvarez Mysteries are set in Andalucia at a time of terror and immense global disruption. The books explore how this impacts the lives of one family. He won a prize for his fiction at the 2020 Emirates Literature Festival in Dubai and is an alumna of the Faber Academy. He lives in Dubai with his family.
