R. D. Galyean

R. D. Galyean was a registered nurse for fifty years before his retirement in 2024. He had always been a fan of murder mysteries but never stopped long enough to write his own. That was until his retirement and encouragement from his husband.
He and his husband of twenty years have lived in North Carolina since they met in 2005. They have jointly two daughters and two sons with four grandchildren and four great grandchildren who live scattered across Tennessee, Florida, and Ohio. They are blessed with two rescue pups that make their daily life interesting and enjoyable.
R. D. spends his retirement traveling with his husband on his work excursions, taking care of the home, and writing. He finds writing about his gay characters’ romantic adventures and how they end up in the middle of murder thrilling.
