Carol Colbert - I was born in Detroit, Michigan. I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement and Associates of Applied Science in Homeland Security/Emergency Management. I have beautiful grandchildren and have traveled extensively. At one time we lived in Las Vegas, but the rest of my years have been spent in Michigan and all of my books give a nod to the downriver area. I am an active member of the Sisters In Crime Organization, Michigan Author's Group and the Detroit Writer's Collective.

While the Ghost Series books (6) are fantasy, the first book in the series, Ghost House, is based on my real life experience in a haunted house. All of my books, to date 51, are set in Michigan. If you enjoy my books, I would appreciate a review on Amazon.

    Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2015
    Should be s' rather than 's, which is singular possessive.

    Also, "their" should be either "they are" or "they're."

    The ad (to which this comment relates) appeared on the screens of Kindle Paper Whites and seems more like a warning about the quality of the book.
