About the author

USA Today bestselling author Jami Davenport writes sexy contemporary, new adult, and sports romances, including Gone Missing, Seattle Sockeyes, The Scoring Series, and the Portland Icehawks.
Jami lives on a small farm near Puget Sound with her Army Ranger-turned-plumber husband, a Newfoundland drool monster, and two demanding tabby cats.
Jami worked in IT for years and is also a former high school business teacher but recently achieved a life-long dream of being a full-time author. A horse lover since birth, Jami showed dressage horses for over thirty years. Now she gardens and goes glamping, along with other travelling adventures. She's a lifetime Seahawks and Mariners fan, a proud season ticket holder for the Seattle Kraken, and still misses her SuperSonics. An avid boater, Jami has spent countless hours in the San Juan Islands, a common setting in her books. In her opinion, it's the most beautiful place on earth.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2019Surviving a school shooting is something not many of us can even imagine, but I have to say that I loved the story of survival and healing for both Riley and Tiffani.
I’m the reader who loves seeing what characters in past books have been up to, and I’ve absolutely enjoyed reading about the next generation once they grow up and become the next big things. Knowing their backgrounds gives me a feeling of a deeper relationship with the characters and I was really invested in Riley as a man versus knowing him as a belligerent teenaged boy. Yet when he is confronted with his past, I could feel the potential within both him and Tiff, that it could threaten their future if he can’t trust her and move forward. Jami Davenport’s writing is that good. The emotions fairly emanated from the virtual pages as I was reading.
Even though she was unharmed in the incident, the emotional toll of Tiffani was devastating, and in this book we are with her as she attempts to heal and open up to Riley.
This book was also a big lead into the next book in the series, and I couldn’t wait to read whether Gage will recover from his potentially career ending injury. I loved that in spite of being a man spreading his sexual favours far and wide about campus, he was in Riley’s corner. These sports romances of Jamie Davenports are definitely more-ish. 5 Stars.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2017This is a difficult review for me to write since I only like to do five star reviews. While I loved Riley and Tiff's story and the story needed to be told, this book was difficult for me to read since I absolutely do not like books written in the first person that jump back and forth. Had it not been for that style of writing this would for sure have been a five star book. The characters are well developed and the story line holds the readers interest although because of the style I didn't just sit down and read like I normally would have with Ms Davenport's books. One thing that I always appreciate is the depth of the story line and the attention to deal no matter if it's location or the sports which Ms Davenport obviously knows well. While the style of the book isn't my favorite, it's still a book well deserving of being read.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2017What an awesome read. Tiff and Riley's story was heart wrenching at times. These were two young people were hiding into plain site from the world. On the surface they were somewhat happy and well adjusted after surviving the tragedy in their past. But in reality they struggled with it daily. It was only through their friendship and love that they were able to come out from behind their masks and truly be themselves.
I loved seeing the shift in their relationship. In the beginning Riley was the strong self-assured one. Through the confidence he had gained by being raised by his Uncle Coop and Aunt Izzy as well as his blossoming college football career, he was able to slowly bring Tiff out of her self-imposed prison. And when it counted, Tiff became his strength. Helping him through a difficult time.
I loved seeing these two grow as individuals and as a couple. It gave me that feel-good feeling after the last page was turned.

I have read all of Jami's books. I am a sucker for a good series and I love sports! These books are a great combination!
I could not wait for this book! I loved Cooper and Izzy's story and knew that a story about Riley would be fantastic. I was not disappointed!!! Having read all of the series gave me a great background on all of the characters. Made me feel like family. This story is stand alone but also weaves into the other series of books for the Sockeyes and the steelheads! Riley and Tiff fight hard for what they want! I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good book and football! Can't wait for the next one!!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2019I love Davenport's Seattle stories. Entertaining, sweet, diverting. And I support Davenport's right to make as much money as she can off the sale of each book.
Sacked in Seattle is a great story. I loved the POV.
But the story needed more meat on its bones. The heroine caved to the hero too easily, the conflicts the characters suffered past and present were too severe to be so easily overcome.
And the book cost $2.00 too much.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2017Sacked in Seattle we find ourselves meeting Riley Black & Tiffani Vernon once again. Seven years have passed but the past is still at the forefront of their lives.
Riley is now a college football player, but he always felt something was missing when Tiffani just up and left one day.
Tiffani has come home not by choice but by circumstance. When she finally sees Riley again all her emotions come racing back but can time heal everything she is hoping that you can leave the past where it belongs and she can move forward with the one person she knows can get her be the person she once was.
When we first met Riley & Tiffani they were secondary characters in Coop's story but as they move to the front of their own story you find out just how amazing the two of them really are. We also see how two people can overcome so many different kinds of emotions when you have the other to lean on.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2017After a childhood with a drug addicted, absentee mother, Riley finds himself at the home of his Uncle Cooper's. Now years later, in college, playing football, but is plagued by memories of an ordeal that happened to him and classmates in high school. Now he thinks he has seen the one girl from his past, Tiff that he has never forgotten. Will they reunite as friends, be able to get past that horrible fateful day, and yet move on? Beautiful story, being able to forgive, trust, move on, move past, and love again.💞 Loved this story.

4.0 out of 5 stars Riley and Tiff😍
Riley came to live with his Uncle Cooper when he was fourteen years old, after his mother abandoned him at a motel for two weeks! Fast forward seven years and he’s finally where he wants to be in his life, until he spots Tiff at a party. Memories of a terrible day that haunts them both resurfaces😢
Tiff can’t believe it when she sees Riley across from her at a party. She knows she’s been lucky not bumping into him until now but she hoped she’d be able to dodge him as long as possible! When memories resurface, she runs off 🏃♀️
Riley has his work cut out for him, if he wants to convince Tiff that they are right for each other and he will fight to win her over💕

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay but...
I had high hopes for this book having read previous ones when rye and tiff were growing up. Sad to say it didn’t meet those expectations as her character was all over the place and although he showed a bit of maturity their on off relationship was distracting. It’s a book for a younger audience and nice to catch up with coop and Izzy and ice and Avery but it’s not a keeper.
