I so wish I could give this Book 10 stars because it enraged me to the depths of my core that NO other book has ever enraged me on the inside, my entire being held such a fury of fire. It's this style of books, and even though I say Enraged I Still Love the book but some of the characters and parts of the book I hated, is it ok to love and hate a book? For me absolutely because I am invested into the entire concept and she wanted me furious, it was the plan of this writer to keep us on our toes to dig in our brains and think back into the other books and answer our own what if, buts and whys if we can, to bring all these books together to start entwining them. Because in truth we just got Aleatha'd all over Again! Yep, You did that Aleatha Romig! The writing in the book is so intense that you do not want to put it down for a second, maybe a break here of there but for the most part I was in the Zone yep Aleatha's Crazy Frenzy Reading Zone. You can only stop to rest just enough to muddle through the work day because you have get back and finish the book. I had read all but 10 chapters but I knew they would be doozies and I needed a break a clear head to get to the end! And Goodness that ending, I wont lie its a Big ole cliffy and its disturbing and made me feel Rage! I wanted to punch people and become a wild woman, yep you did that as well Aleatha! lol But it is such great writing that its all real, seriously it feels like this is all real, not fiction. Through these books we have invested time and learned and loved these people and want to help them, defend them. She has built her characters up to such a level that you are furious when they falter because this is fiction they are not suppose to do that not "these people". You don't understand how your perfect Charli has become this weak Alex character, but then we remember that she tells us, that Charli is her escape Charli isn't known at Montague Manor. And then you feel the whirlwind sucking you inside of this place, the place that you knew was coming a place of Evilness. So of course she is Alex, she cannot be Charli here at least not yet, not until she builds herself up and knows that she can let loose and oh I believe that is coming, its called "A Reckoning" and Charli will let loose when she has her powerful ones with her to do so! At least I hope so, I have been reading each book so it was no surprise how mad at the Heroine and Hero I became, heck I was mad at a lot of people in this book. I found our Heroine to be weak in this book, a sad Alex, the Alex that has been held here and abused here and told exactly how to act, when to speak, be at dinner, how to dress when and were she can go! And our strong Charli gets into that car and she does a 180 and turns right into Alex under Alton's thumb, all for her momma and right from the last book of Deception, yes she was deceived and she walked right into the webs of lies and deceit that have always been in these walls of Montague Manor. Charli didnt understand the consequences she had put herself into when she goes flying off to her momma who is very sick without her rock, her love, her Nox! And now, she is paying for those mistake she is Entrapped and was led straight into the lions den!
So ok you have read the blurb you know you have to read the first three books of the Infidelity Series (it is not regarding cheating on say your husband or family but to and of yourself) Betrayal, Cunning, Deception and of course this is Entrapment, a trap set to ensnare the one they need to keep what they want. Lines have been drawn we have a fight coming, we have Alex on lockdown at the manor with her best friend Chelsea and her momma deathly ill in a Rehab Center being intravenously fed drugs. Did Adelaide do what they says she did or are these all lies, did she do it to get Alex home to do her duty as the next heir of the manor, to get Alex married her to her young playmate, the one she grew up with? Is he even that young playmate? How do all these puzzle pieces tie in, well I will tell you that if you have not read the other three books you are lost and would never figure it out. Can Nox save her, Can Oren help? And do they have a mole inside helping, what about the Will? I say Alton and Bryce better be shaking in that manor because even though Alex's grandfather decided her fate he wanted it to be as they all wanted, to keep the legacy. He didn't want strings being pulled and things being done deceitfully, did he? I believe that is exactly as it has been done for years to Adelaide and Alex that they were both so forcefully fed into believing what they were told and they have Always done as they were told. But will they now, does the Codicil have the power to make the big changes needed. Get to one clicking if you have yet to read this dark mysterious romance its so much that it is almost to much in the book world and I loved every minute of it! Bravo Aleatha Romig on another great book I cannot wait to get my hands on this last book to find out everything and just how Infidelity the actual place has to tie this all together!
