Editorial Reviews
Review
Lady Justice and the Sixth Sense by Robert Thornhill is as fresh as the daily news, and far more entertaining. The author has once again crafted a tale that is plausible, amusing and enjoyable, yet capable of spiking your blood pressure a few times.
This story is fiction, but there is so much reality woven into all Robert Thornhill's Lady Justice stories that it's not hard to believe there is more truth than fiction hiding in the background. I highly recommend that everyone who enjoys mystery, humor, or just a good story, really should pick up any one of the episodes in the series. Lady Justice and the Sixth Sense would be a great one to start with!

- Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2018(Originally posted on Audible.com) The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. This was a great book. It's full of wit, charm, twists, and turns. You can't go wrong with a Robert Thornhill book or one narrated by George Kuch. Make sure you get all books by these gentlemen. You'll be glad you did!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2018I have been a fan of the Lady Justice Series for a long time now and so I was excited when I got this book as a free download. The storyline moved along rather briskly and a lot happened in the book, I missed the majority of the motley crew that usually make an appearance, but overall it was an entertaining read. The Author is known for weaving current events into his books and sprinkled them with lots of humor as well. I wonder what will happen next?
- Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2017This series is addictive and spellbinding! I love the quirky lovable characters. It made me laugh out loud several times. It is so up-to-date with what is happening right now in our country. If I had a complaint, it would be that the story is over too quickly. Hmm...maybe I just read too fast. Loved it!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2017I have seen many child on various TV shows who had extraordinary mental abilities. Some could solve complex math problems and formulas in their heads with lightning speed. Others, had the ability to commit highly complex things to memory. I agree to author's point that they had developed neural connections in their brains that went far beyond what most of us will ever experience. These people, along with Marty, should give us hope that there is so much more that our species can achieve if we learn to harness the tremendous potential that lies in each of us.
It is really an interesting detective series, I enjoyed this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2018Book 28 in this wonderful series. I don't know how Robert Thornhill does it but book 28 is as wonderfully entertaining as book 1. I really love this series and the adventures that Walt and his mutley crew get into. If you have not experienced this series you need to read just one book. But let me warn you they are addictive just like potato chips can't read just one. Once again George Kuch narrates this book and as I have said before he is the true voice of Walt.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2017Not my usual genre but I enjoyed reading this mystery. If you are looking for a clean read with some interesting characters give this a try.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2017I was thrilled when I saw that there was another Lady Justice book available. My normal reading preference is paranormal stories—especially stories with either ghosts or physics in it. But when it comes to mysteries, I instantly grab a new Lady Justice book when I see it. All of the Lady Justice series is full of humor as well as mystery. I have never met a character in any of the stories that I did not like, except for the bad guys. In this new story it is about a boy who is psychic—just my kind of story!
Like a lot of psychic stories this little boy acquired his psychic ability after he had a head injury. Marty Singer, the 10 year old boy, is Jerry’s great-nephew. Now we all know Jerry if you have read all the other Lady Justice books, and he has not changed his habits in this story either. The only difference in his habit of telling corny jokes is that at one point in the story he uses his jokes as a weapon! Now I won’t tell you what or how, you are just going to have to read it yourself. Back to the story, it was through Jerry that Marty met Walt Williams the seventy-four-year-old private investigator (main character of the series). It was while he was in Walt’s company that he displayed his first psychic prediction. Marty saw a man on TV that was being charged with murder & he told Walt that the man was innocent. As the story moves along, a little more and a little more of his psychic insight comes out & helps Walt and his team prove the man’s innocent. That is not enough, but he also sees the president on TV, even though he does not know who he is, and tells Walt that the man is in danger. He describes the man as “as the man with funny hair”—LOL, we all know who that refers to! And of course his psychic prediction helps to save the president. Just imagine Walt having to try and convince Homeland security that the president is in danger because a little boy predicted it.
This was a great story & I enjoyed it tremendously. Now I am just waiting for the next Lady Justice story to be written—can hardly wait.
I got this with my Kindle Unlimited account and you won’t see “verified purchase” at the top. There were no steamy sex scenes or foul language & this I really appreciated.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2017Always one to keep up with current events and topics, Robert Thornhill doesn’t disappoint in his 28th book in the Lady Justice series. The cast this time features a cameo appearance by the President of the United States, Donald Trump. Wow! Just imagine, Jerry the Joker and POTUS together in one book!
The premise of this story centers around a young boy, Marty Singer, Jerry’s great-nephew, who receives a concussion while bike riding and awakes to find that he “sees” things that have or are going to happen. After correctly supplying vital information in a murder investigation, Walt and Kevin take his prediction seriously when he foresees an event that might be an assassination attempt on the President who will be visiting KC to speak at a gathering centering on the moving of confederate statues.
There are some very funny moments in the story written by Thornhill and an interesting discussion about savant behaviors after head traumas. Jerry the Joker is given a space to spew forth his lamest limericks to chase away newspaper reporters…which may be the best use of his comedy yet. The escapades are like small vignettes, but are skillfully woven together so that one story line weaves into the next until all the bad guys are safely in custody, and the world is momentarily safe again thanks to Lady Justice and her helpers. A great book for that lazy afternoon when you just want to relax and forget the troubles of the world.
