Ric-A-Dam-Doo: The Snow Devils Kindle Edition
The state police and FBI are rendered virtually helpless as the gang hides behind International laws and several levels of corruption.
Crossing the line between the two countries will not be a problem for the Reeses when they decide to take matters into their own hands. The unusual couple use their special skills to do things that regular law enforcement just cannot.
Loyalties are tested and human nature is examined in this action filled crime thriller.
What is a Ric-A-Dam-Doo? First and foremost it is the flag of the Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry. But it is more than that. Ric-A-Dam-Doo represents the pride and honor of the brave men and women, past and present, that have served their nation and the rights of the oppressed around the world since the first regiment was formed during WWI.

About the author

Wayne Kerr was born and raised in Biggar, Saskatchewan, Canada (New York is big, but this is Biggar). Wayne spent twenty years living in the USA but has returned to Canada and now makes his home in the beautiful Okanagan region of British Columbia. The author of several books including: Braking Point, intensive Formula racing; Dead Ringers, A Pinot Noir to Die For and Murder on the Okanagan Express in the Black Swann Investigation series; Ric-A-Dam-Doo, a Special Forces thriller; for younger readers 'The X + Y Files' paranormal mystery series; Dwelf Guardian of the Realms, a middle-earth style adventure. When not reading or writing mystery/thrillers he is probably hiking, kayaking or playing pickleball.
The 'Black Swann Investigation' series features Reggie Swann, formerly Toronto's best and brightest homicide detective until she was framed for murder. After surviving ten brutal years behind bars, she's back. No longer a cop, living in Penticton, Reggie leaves no stone unturned as she becomes Canada's favorite Private Detective. Set in one of Canada's most beautiful locations, with unforgettable characters and nearly unsolvable murders, mystery readers will love this series.
Ric-A-Dam-Doo - retired Special Forces soldiers don't just fade away. Once a Snow Devil, always a Snow Devil! When a pair of teenaged girls are kidnapped and smuggled into Mexico the police and FBI investigations are stopped at the border. Former soldier PB Reese and his wife Janet Reese, a retired Interpol agent. will cross that line and any other they must to return the girls to their families before they vanish forever, doomed to a life of depravity.
One of Wayne's goals is to get more young people off the internet and into a good book.
The 'X + Y Files' series are children's chapter books for kids 9-12. Stories that capture the imagination. 'Monsters and Miracles' is an action adventure book with a surprise paranormal twist. 'Kristin's Ghost' is a paranormal mystery, solved using good old fashioned detective skills, with a hint of first crush and first kiss. 'Escape from Area 51' will blend science fiction into the above mix of adventure, mystery and the paranormal.
The 'Dwelf, Guardian of the Realms' series is for tweens and teens. Book 1 - The Book of Spells is a fantasy novel for kids 11-14. A teen, from our modern world, must face dragons, elves, dwarves, ogres and magic as she realizes her destiny, in this fast paced, middle-earth action fantasy.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 31, 2016This book had such a unique storyline it kept me on my toes the whole way through. I can't wait for more books in this series!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2017I was given a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review of Ric-A-Dam-Doo: The Snow Devils. Being a Canadian, and with both of my grandfathers serving in WWII, this story really hit home for me - right from the beginning. And Wayne has done his research as well - I'm very impressed with his level of precision when it comes to stating the facts, current and past.
With the slave trade still flourishing and women being their target, a special team is assembled in an attempt to annihilate the source - and save the victims. There are some extremely gripping, nail biting moments throughout the book that will send you into a page turning frenzy...but there is also a side romance buried within that fury, which normally I feel is just filler within a novel - yet in this instance it really works, well done Wayne.
Having two daughters myself, and along with the taut narrative, this novel really had me involved at a fast paced level from beginning to end.
Great job Wayne - I look forward to all of your future novels.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2017I received a copy of 'Ric-A-Dam-Doo' in exchange for an honest review. I couldn’t wait to find out what the story was all about. What a great title for a book!
Ric-A-Dam-Doo: The Snow Devils - Retirement wasn’t bliss for PB Reese a retired Canadian Special Forces soldier and his wife, Janet Reese, a former Interpol Agent. It seemed every time they got settled in at a new location, their cover would get blown.
Their move to Arizona proved no different when one of their new friend’s granddaughter was kidnapped by a Mexican gang. There was never a question about their involvement in the case.
The Reeses were once part of a team that took down the world's largest human trafficking ring. They were aware of the dangers that lay ahead for returning their friend’s granddaughter and her friend home. But, could they do this alone without the help of their former teammates, the Snow Devils?
- Reviewed in the United States on January 20, 2017Wayne has crafted a tightly knit action story, actually is more than one story from the past to explain the present. He has a deft touch for the locales, action, and dialog. He really shines in the relationships, he has a great balance for all the characters, major and minor. He does just enough to prevent confusion caused by head hopping, a little bit more delineation between characters would not detract from the story however.
In short, I loved the story and had a hard time putting it down! I found only a couple of spelling errors. Ric-A-Dam-Doo deserves 4.9 stars of 5! I hope the book is transformed into a series! A couple of prequels wouldn’t hurt also, hint, hint.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2016The entire time I was reading this I couldn't put it down! Very well-written, exciting, entertaining and funny! Very easily relateable characters, and I particularly enjoyed how in-depth some of the details were in regards to some of the less-than-everyday scenarios (Kerr seemed to do a lot of research into military action and you could feel the comeraderie of the unit).
Ric-A-Dam-Doo ranks up there with my favorite action/adventure/mystery novels. Reminded me of James Rollins' way of writing and type of story.
I would recommend this book to any of my friends and family!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2016Decided to read "Ric- A -Dam -Doo" on a plane trip to help pass the time. It really kept my interest and was suspenseful. When I landed it was hard to put the book aside and I spent any free moments I had to finish reading it to find out how it ends. I'm not a big reader, but really enjoyed this book. Laural Swifka
