    WOW this is a amazing story! One that you will definitely enjoy. There is so much excitement with these awesome characters, they have such great chemistry. It's funny, thrilling and very passionate with parts that will bring tears to your eyes along with their drama element, but there is a lot of saddest and it's one thing brought tears to my eyes I had to make myself finish that chapter but the most of what I enjoyed is the time spent with all of the couple their relationship is so beautiful and enjoyable ⭐I am totally devouring this series when I finished reading the last page, I still wanted more! I was so absorbed into how their relationship develop, it wasn't a rushed tight story line either. The series just flows so smoothly one book into the next book. There are humorous parts in the story and their attraction towards their mates is off-the-charts! Plus this is an all around one of the best story I have read. I am enjoying their journey. I'm so excited for the next book!😍💑💃Overall this is a five star which l greatly enjoyed and again I'm excited about the next story.

    Let me just say I LOVE this book.
    It had EVERYTHING in it.
    I mean everything

    Our Hero Joshua *shudders* this man has it all. He can scare the ever loving crap out of you. Make you submit when you swore up & down that you never would. And his mouth, the look, feel, & what comes out of it at times.. Had me like...
    *Fanning self while sweating & breathing heavily*

    The man is the business. He doesn't play. And if given the choice, you'd want to be on his good side. Trust me. He's beyond loyal. Loving, passionate, compassionate, hot, sexy as hell.
    Buuut he'll eff you up in the worst way if you step out of line with him or someone dear to him.

    I loved Kenya too. I felt her & Josh in many ways, were each others' mirror. Not only did they have white hot chemistry across the board, but they had this quiet understanding toward one another. It really was a joy to watch their interactions play out. And it was a joy to see such a man as Josh embrace love so completely. It actually made him more formidable. More ferocious. If that's possible.
    Scary stuff. Scary & beautiful all at once.

    This story is busy. There is a lot going on, with tons of layers that don't really become clear until you're basically at the end. But I guess that's what makes it great too. It's hard to figure out exactly what's going on before you're supposed to and I loved that.

    I loved how it all came together, every role that each person had to play to complete this story was done beautifully. Especially the roles of Kenya's & Josh's family, and the things that put her on the road that eventually would lead her to Josh

    I hate to say goodbye to my baby Josh but all good things must come to an end. I so loved how this one closed as well.

    This was truly an awesome read and I HIGHLY recommend that you read it.

There were also some negligible grammatical errors sprinkled throughout, but because I like this author, I decided to finish the story. All I can say is, stick with this book because the ending is very suspenseful and worth the wait.

This is my second time reading this to prepare for Obsession 2.5 which I have been waiting forever for. It gives me new perspectives this time around. I love Josh and Kenya and how you let their love story develop. The action and suspense was on point as well. I love that although Kenya has been through a lot, she is strong in many ways. I am not a fan of the total damsel that is brainless and has strength but allows her man to be a man. Josh is the complete package and I am loving it. This Obsession series can go on for a couple more books (later in life with kids, Nickels, Junior, though dont like him Jacks). Lot of interesting characters that can have a story!     I must say I am surprised how much I enjoyed this. Its been in my library languishing for months. Josh and Kenya are just meant to be...I should have been sleeping but read this in one go instead.
    Kenya's past is horrific and uncomfortably realistic. Her Father reminded me a lot of mine except that mine was an equal opportunity abuser...from Mom on down thru all the siblings and even the family dogs. Its a little long but it gives great background and character development. Josh's family and team are fantastic and keep you engaged. Kenya's familly...just ugh..vomit worthy and with the exception of her brother, I would not have forgiven a one of them!😒 Can't wait to read th next one.😁

    This is my third book by S K Lessly and I have never been disappointed by any of her stories.

    This is Joshua and Summer/Kenya's story.

    The story grabbed my attention from the Prologue and makes you want to keep reading to find out how Kenya got into the darkness in the first place!!

    As far as I am concerned Josh is a true Alpha Male and treats his woman like a man should!
    I loved the dialogue between the couple and the fact that the story was mainly about them and how they interacted with each other.
    The book has action, murder, intrigue, betrayal and family drama all the elements of a great read. One of the most romantic books I have read this year so far. I love romance and this book was full of it!

    One of my favourite scenes in the book is when Keyna is telling Josh that she loves him.

    Kenya: "I love you Joshua..." he heard her whisper and panic settled in...
    Joshua: "Sweets please just hold on for me".

    Love, love this scene!!! To experience the full magnificence of this dialogue between the couple you will have to read the book.

    I hated Jack he is such a douche!!!! You will see why if you read the book! He and Paula/Diane deserve each other!!

    I would highly recommend this book. I would rate this a 10 star read if there was a 10!!! Definitely a 5 star with outstanding features for sure. I loved it!

    This is my second book by this author, and I must first of all commend her on her book covers. I love a fresh cover where you can tell some thought went into it. I hate all the recycled stock images that we keep seeing and always run for the hills when I see them on a book.

    Anyway, I digress....I enjoyed this book more than the first one in the series, although I have to say it was a bit of a slow burner for me. The very beginning almost had me going into a yawn fest. I would have given this book an easy 5 star rating were it not for the simple reason that here we have Kenya/Summer on the cover of the book, looking about the same skin tone as me, but in the book she blushes right to the roots of her hair. She actually goes RED with her blushing, and as if that weren't enough, she has green eyes. This is a pet peeve of mine, and it needs to stop. The green eyes I can take, the blushing; no come on; we all blush but Black people of the cover model's kin tone DO NOT blush visibly. I'm sorry, but no author will ever sell that to me, and I'll continue to dock a point off my reviews for such descriptions. Each time Summer went crimson, I CRINGED!

    I loved Josh and admired his alpha traits as well as the way he loved Kenya and helped her heal and learn to love. Summer complemented him well and was a sweet but feisty and smart girl. But what a vile family she had, she was better off without them! Overall a good read. I will still persevere with Ms Lessly as I have bought the next book in the series. She writes well and her work is almost error free in terms of typos :)
