Passionate vengeful, and violent.The couple has a connection so strong that even though they hardly know much about the other the passion for them is strong. S.K. Lessly is great storyteller ! I have highly enjoyed this book, it's another one that has kept me up way past my bed time and the first thing I pick up the next day. All doing the day my Kindle is in my hands and my nose was deep in the story. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite series. I have enjoyed the humor and also, the story line with this couple it's outstanding. It's so passionate; it builded you up and didn't fizzle out. However, the interaction between Drake and Georgia is explosive in its own right these two match each other in wits and passion they constantly strike sparks off each other. There is plenty of action to keep you entertained and there is a lot going on at any given time, which is not surprising. I like that Georgia always does give as much as she gets what can I say bout this story: its exceptional, funny, and heartbreaking, powerful!!! There are so many parts that require commentary that I would be writing a book myself this amazing story!!! it's a memorable book of this series. These gentleman refuses to give up Drake is rude to just about anyone, but you can't help but like him. This was a feel good read with easy to love characters who just wanted to love and be loved.

    The story of Drake and Georgia is not your typical love story; they meet in Cabo, Georgia, a shy and sweet college professor has had a hard life to say the least, she believes she has final found love with her Fiancé Gavin and they are set to marry. On the night before her wedding, she finds her husband to be and her best friend in bed together. A devastated Georgia runs off to Cabo, their honeymoon destination alone. While abroad Georgia wants to prove she can be spontaneous and sexy so she sets out to seduce a stranger on her trip, and when she sees a sexy stranger, sitting all alone she makes her move she walks right over to him. Drake has bad boy written all over him. The former CIA agent turned Mafia Hitman for his uncles Philadelphia crime family, has the FBI on hot on his trail so he is sent to Cabo to lay low for a couple of weeks. He and his cousin Angel are exploring what Cabo has to offer, but so far the women have left much to be desired for Drake. While having a drink at a local bar he sees beautiful woman walk in and low and be hold she walks right up to his table and makes him an offer he cannot refuse. The two spent one super-hot night together and part ways .While out at a local bar a strange man drugs and trying to kidnap Georgia, Drake rescues her and they decide to spend the next two weeks together. Their time together is cut short when Drakes uncle summons him home and he has to leave sooner that he thinks, he doesn’t want to leave her but duty calls. Soon Georgia’s trip is over and when she arrives at the airport she gets a surprise call that has her going to Philadelphia. When Drake sees Georgia in his home town he doesn’t know what to think but he knows he has to have her again. Soon both of their past catches up to them and they find they are more connected than they think.
    I love this book; it was so good I could not put it down! Drake and Georgia where two of the best characters ever, the story was put together well and had plenty of plot twist and turns that will keep you hooked and the sex was so hot I just about jumped in a cold shower! Georgia’s childhood made me just want to cry at how she was treated and Drakes brother, Cousin Eddie and parents made me want to slap them! I love that both where flawed and had some very serious baggage, but found love in each other. This is my second book by S.K.Lessly and if you read my review of Ruined you know I hoping the next book would be just as good and boy! Was it ever! S.K. is quickly climbing the ranks of my favorite author list!

    Georgia and Drake end things but neither really wants too, but they both must face their past.

    Drake is involved in some heavy stuff and Georgia's life isn't less drama filled.

    Both are missing each other and happen to reconnect, but this time Drake makes it known she's staying with him. There are no words of love whispered but their is affection, hot sex and an alpha male determined to get what he wants

    Their past collides and leads down a dangerous path. One that both are familiar with in many ways.

    Things happen and Georgia leaves Drake out of fear and what she feels is unrequited love, but her actions put her in danger and Drake is there to rescue her.

    The book ends with the two together. However, there will be a part two or maybe even more.

    Pros:
    Well written. A few things that were off about timeline things stated, like the hours she waited for the police as a kid.
    Drake is alpha. Sexy!
    Georgia is sweet. You'll like her even though she's insecure at times.
    A lot of story.

    Cons:
    Meeting your love interest on vacation isn't original. Not my favorite plot.
    Fiancé cheating the day before marriage isn't original but the author delivers such a good book it doesn't really matter.
    Georgia leaving him was sort of dumb because she was in danger. A normal person doesn't do that and with someone she obviously doesn't trust.
    Books with characters falling in love fast aren't my favorite stories, but the author does a good job with the characters that it wasn't bad.

    This is my second book by this author.

    SK has the gift of hooking you into her story and drawing you in and once she has you she does not let go.

    This is Drake and Georgia's story. I like them both. I did want to shake Georgia a couple of times when she was not just straight up with Drake about what was going on in her life when he saw he again in Philly. However, I can totally understand how betrayed she was feeling by everyone in her life. At least Drake never betrayed her.

    Warning about the language - the "F" word is used a lot in this book!

    The story is engrossing and keeps you engaged and invested in the story!

    This was a very good read and I would highly recommenced it.

    Georgia and Drake’s story: So far this is my third book by this author, and it has confirmed the fact that I’m fast becoming a firm fan. I have read “Ruined” and “Obsession”, and for me this was the best out of the three.

    I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious twists and turns this book presented, and the way Drake and Georgia’s love manifested itself. I absolutely loved it and will continue to look out for Ms Lessly’s books. I only wish this was a complete, standalone read, without a cliffhanger. I am hoping that the sequel leads into Angel’s story. He sounds HOT and would definitely make for a great alpha male lead ☺
