About the author

Through a crazy twist of fate, Caroline Clemmons was not born on a Texas ranch. To make up for this tragic error, she writes about handsome cowboys, feisty ranch women, and scheming villains from a small office her family calls her pink cave. She and her Hero live in North Central Texas cowboy country where they ride herd on their rescued cats and dogs. The books she creates there have made her an Amazon bestselling author and won several awards.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2015Lovely short story. Entertaining and a perfect read on a quiet afternoon. I love the way the story started and how the main characters met up. Caroline never fails to disappoint with her "twist" at the end of the story. Caroline is a very talented writer and I will purchase more of her books. I highly recommend adding her to your list of favorite authors!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2015Sweet, small story that still manages to capture the readers interest. Another great addition to the Stone Mountain Texas series.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2018This was a really sweet story! I enjoy short stories sometimes and tonight was one of those times. It had a little of everything, love, good folks, horrible people, a heroine and handsome cowboy. Sallybdyer@gmail.com

- Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2015Gwen came to Radford Crossing to be the new school teacher, and was shocked to see who came to meet her. She was expecting to be met by Joel Stone but of all the men in the world it had to be Mark Hardeman, the man who left her without a word a few years ago in Austin. She was not happy to see him and did not tell her why he left like he did. This is a short story so I will let you read it to find the answer to her question to him.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2017The author captures your imagination and runs with it happily to the end. The plot was superb and carried you to the end.
