Lady Justice and Dr Death Written by Robert Thornhill

In Lady Justice and Dr. Death, a series of terminally ill patients are found dead under circumstances that point to a new Dr. Death practicing euthanasia in the Kansas City area. Walt and his entourage of scrappy seniors are dragged into the 'right-to-die-with-dignity' controversy. The mystery provides a light-hearted look at this explosive topic and death in general. You may see end-of-life issues in a whole new light after reading Lady Justice and Dr. Death.

What did I like? This book really makes you think about the whole issue in a totally different light. I was very intrigued by this view and have given it a lot thought being in my golden years myself.

What will you like? Death, Deception, Intrigue, Thriller, and Humor. From the point of view of a Kansas City Policeman, this story takes us on a journey through the end of life problems and where it leaves you. Is it Right or Not? Should we intervene or let nature take its course. Very enlighting and thought-provoking.

I have read many of the Lady Justice series and have found them to be entertaining. The author deals with tough subjects in this series.

With a bit of human Robert Thornhill winds his stories around difficult issues. In this book the sensitive issue is euthanasia. Officer Walt Williams and his fellow officer/partner Ox deal with murderers, serial killers and danger at every corner.

Walk finds himself in some difficult and dangerous situations which nearly take his life. Somehow Walk comes out with his life intact, just barely.

Another enjoyable read with humor, action, and mystery that will keep the reader engaged. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Walt and the gang are back... the perfect group to deal with the hot topic of assisted suicide. In between all the humorous antics, there’s actually a serious topic, and Robert Thornhill does a fantastic job of pulling it all together. I really love how I can be pulled into serious thoughts one moment, and giggling like a school girl the next.

George Kuch is a true gem. His portrayal of each of the characters is exactly as I would imagine them being. A top notch narrator!

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

This is, thus far, my least favorite installment of the Lady Justice series. I won't get into the moral conundrum that the plot is based on, nor my opinion about it. It did, however, impact my rating. The writing is still solid, the characters still loveable, and the humor still cheeky. I just didn't care for the direction the subject matter took.

I got this book as a free download and since I have been a fan of Robert Thornhill for some time now, I was super excited about reading it. Now even though it is the 6th book in the series its not a problem if you are not familiar with the other books. As usual it is full of action and humor along with the motley crew of characters that I find so endearing, but it also touches on things that are going on in the world at the time, in this case the controversial assistance of euthanasia in terminally sick people. It is fast paced read with a good storyline. Keep them coming please!

Lady Justice and Dr. Death was my seventh enjoyable read/listen from author Robert Thornhill. An enjoying & entertaining read, filled with puns & one-liners. Each book in the series seems better than the last as Thornhill continues to up his game. Narrator George Kuch again adds greatly to the listening enjoyment with his wide variety of entertaining voices & inflections. I’ll definitely be reading more from Thornhill! I put off reading this because of the title. But once I started, I was relieved to hang out with old friends again.

The way it is written really gave me new understanding into the subject.

Lots of twists & turns & some frightening experiences that had my heart pounding.
As usual, wonderful writing by this amazing author.

Once you start reading this book, DON'T LET NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES TURN YOU OFF.
The ending is such a big PAY OFF ! You won't be disappointed.
    Sincerely, Rene
