Award-winning author, Robert Thornhill, began writing at the age of sixty-six and in ten short years has penned forty-three novels in the Lady Justice mystery/comedy series, the seven volume Rainbow Road series of chapter books for children, a cookbook and a mini-autobiography.

Lady Justice and the Sting, Lady Justice and Dr. Death, Lady Justice and the Vigilante, Lady Justice and the Candidate, Lady Justice and the Book Club Murders, Lady Justice and the Cruise Ship Murders, Lady Justice and the Vet and Lady Justice and the Pharaoh's Curse won the Pinnacle Award for the best new mystery novels of Fall 2011, Winter 2012, Summer 2012, Fall 2012, Spring of 2013, Summer of 2013, Spring of 2014 and Fall of 2014 from the National Association of Book Entrepreneurs.

Many of Walt's adventures in the Lady Justice series are anecdotal and based on Robert's real life.

Although Robert holds a master's in psychology, he has never taken a course in writing and has never learned to type. All 53 of his published books were typed with one finger and a thumb!

His wit and insight come from his varied occupations, including thirty-three years as a real estate broker.

He lives with his wife, Peg, in Independence, Missouri.

    What can I say I am hooked this is the fourth book by Thornhill I've read this week. The storyline of humor and mystery is overwhelming I just can't wait to read the next book.
    The vigilante is with out a doubt the best of the best we all need a vigilante in our lives, the way the storyline line builds as the author brings the vigilante over to the right right side of the law is truly amazing, you won't be able to put this book down!!

    Although I have several of books in this series I finally read one! I really enjoyed the flow, plot, and the characters...why did I wait so long? I read it out of order but it didn't effect the story at all. I
    I will have to make time for more of these books!
    In this one, someone is picking off people who are getting off the hook for serious crimes due to minor technologies. Very serious crimes! He makes sure they are indeed the criminal. I am not condoning vigilante justice I am just telling you the story. How things work out is very interesting.

    I truly enjoyed reading this Lady Justice book. Obviously this was an earlier novel as Ox meets Judy in this book and I haven't been reading them in order but it's nice to be able to read them all as standalone stories. All Lady Justice books are entertaining and great reads.
