Lee Ashford for Readers' Favorite
5 Stars!
Lady Justice and the Spy by Robert Thornhill is, not surprisingly, another excellent addition to the author's Lady Justice series of comedy/mystery tales.
From a global weather conspiracy to a major industry's inconceivably avaricious plan to assure a perpetual consumer base, Lady Justice takes on almost more than she can handle in this episode. I urge readers who may not be familiar with the Lady Justice series to grab a copy of Lady Justice and the Spy, and prepare to enjoy an engaging story. Established Lady Justice fans won't require further urging!

About the Author

Award-winning author, Robert Thornhill, began writing at the age of sixty-six and in seven short years has penned twenty-five novels in the Lady Justice mystery/comedy series, the seven volume Rainbow Road series of chapter books for children, a cookbook and a mini-autobiography. Lady Justice and the Sting, Lady Justice and Dr. Death, Lady Justice and the Vigilante, Lady Justice and the Candidate, Lady Justice and the Book Club Murders, Lady Justice and the Cruise Ship Murders, Lady Justice and the Vet and Lady Justice and the Pharaoh's Curse won the Pinnacle Award for the best new mystery novels of Fall 2011, Winter 2012, Summer 2012, Fall 2012, Spring of 2013, Summer of 2013, Spring of 2014 and Fall of 2014 from the National Association of Book Entrepreneurs. Nine volumes in the series reached #1 on Amazon in the past twelve months. Many of Walt's adventures in the Lady Justice series are anecdotal and based on Robert's real life. Although Robert holds a master's in psychology, he has never taken a course in writing and has never learned to type. All 34 of his published books were typed with one finger and a thumb! His wit and insight come from his varied occupations, including thirty-three years as a real estate broker. He lives with his wife, Peg, in Independence, Missouri. Sarah Savage (63, aka Nightshade, former CIA op.) was watching room # 211.
Cathy Carter (38, client) came to see Walt Williams (husband, PI, narrator).
Walt introduced her to Kevin (78, PI partner), & Veronica (38, Kevin’s wife, escort service) & Maggie Williams (72, Walt’s wife, Kevin’s sister, real estate agent).
Cathy & Veronica’s Westport HS class of 1997 (Tigers), 20th. class reunion is coming up.
Cathy has to find the classmates & send them invitations.

3 of the classmates have been murdered in the last month.
They lived in Seattle, Nashville & Miami.
Ox (Walt’s KCPD partner) is going to help out.
Jane Hudson (Seattle, WA., investment broker), strangled, Marcia Withers (Nashville, TN., Grand Ole Opry business office), stabbed in the back & Louise Nettles (Miami, FL. Real estate agent), bludgeoned with a heavy metal object.
Hobie Darling performed as Clarence the Magical Clown.

It seems he was becoming quite popular.
He was now at the American Royal World Series of BBQ (Kansas Speedway).
Will the serial killer get caught & brought to justice?
Dale Fox (chemtrail pilot) had contacted Jack Carson (Kansas City Star reporter).
Dale had something very important for him, but he was murdered.
A Professor Louise Shipley at the Monsanto Corporation who was about to blow the whistle on someone was also whacked.
Jack had contacted Ox & Walt. Jack had mysteriously disappeared.
What was so important at Pinal Air Base in Marana, AZ, & the HAARP antenna in Gakona, AL?
Kristen Meghan (AF Bio-engineer) was also threatened.
Frank Katz (U of Missouri Professor) wrote a very valuable manuscript but he had died before it was published.
Dr. Edgar Pearson (MD, holistic physician) had contacted Ox & Walt about Dr. Martin Mitchell’s research comparison study on Putnam Pharmaceuticals Roloto medication for high cholesterol.
Dr. Mitchell, Violet Jenkins (Martin’s secretary) & Dr. James Jeffrey Bradstreet were all murdered.
12 other Dr.’s had met their death also. A total of 60 for the yr.
Big Pharma was the # 1 suspect& the drug Vioxx.
Maybe Arnie Goldblume & Nicholas Thatcher Watchers founders could help solve these bizarre murder mysteries.

Will the murder mysteries get solved & someone or something brought to justice?
Wow, I partied a lot in Westport.
I told my urologist in 2017, January about the Cialis commercial, if I had a Woodie for 4 hr’s. I’m damn sure not gonna call you. He had never seen it. He busted out laughing.

Warning: This book is for adults only & contains violent or graphic adult content. It may be offensive to some readers.

I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written who-dun-it murder mystery book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great who-dun-it murder mystery movie, or better yet a mini TV series. To be continued. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.

Whether there is truth behind it or just a fiction, I am glad that this book covers two serious topics not enough people today are concerned about: chemtrails and Big Pharma “conspiracies," that is effects on our lives. In his Lady Justice and the Spy mystery novel, Robert Thornhill made it all sound so real. Is it because of his convincing storytelling or the latest events in our world? Decide for yourself.

(Originally posted on Audible.com) The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. I absolutely love the Lady Justice series. I hope this series never ends. I know that's unrealistic; all good things must come to an end eventually. This series is fun, clean, has more twists than a Twizzler, and the subject matter really makes you stop and wonder if it could be true. I don't know how Robert Thornhill comes up with the ideas for the books or if the subject matter is completely fiction but I hope he never runs out of ideas (and that Big Brother doesn't decide he's a threat and take him out LOL)!

This series is super good and it never disappoints me. All the books are so up-to-date that it is scary. I try to read slower than usual but I get so caught up in what is happening that I'm at the end way too soon. I'm sure that I will read them again at some point in time. Loved it!

While I found this story's premise thought provoking, I would have given it five stars rather than four if the narrative style had not been more like a news account than the action filled thriller it could have been. While the spelling, grammar, and editing are impeccable, it reads more like a report than anything else. In fact, not only was it. unclear who was actually the main character, as the. reader, I failed to engage with any of them. What this did do was to demonstrate the truth of the editorial admonition to fiction. writers "Show! Don't tell!" As a result, because this story failed to hold my attention, I did not finish it in one or two sittings the way I usually do, and I have to confess that I fell asleep during the final chapter.

I love this series and whenever I find a new addition to it I am delighted to spend some time with Walt and the gang. This book is connected to Lady Justice and the Conspiracy Trial. You dont have to read it first for this one to make sense, so read them both, beside the entertainment factor you will also learn some new things about the environment. Mr. Thornhill does a super job of taking sensitive subjects and shining a light on them. I'm a big fan.

I love Robert Thornhill's books and this one is no exception. They are funny, thought provoking, and the characters are so real that you begin to feel as if you know them personally. The books are also well researched and present facts, figures and myths in a very entertaining way. As always I will be waiting, and looking forward to, his next Lady Justice adventure!
