Review

Demon Inc is a wonderful book, you can really see the characters evolve from Demon. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Was over before I was ready, I am already reading Demon at War enjoying it so far as well. The characters are likeable and can't forget the loveable Demon. Demon Inc is really going far and I am looking forward to getting into Demon at War. - Jill T.

I read and reread the Hard Case and Assassin books multiple times. I love DeLeo's writing style and humor, his political messages, and his inclusion of the importance of training our children to protect and safeguard our Country's future.

I tolerate DeLeo's Cantelli series for the same reasons, although it's not nearly as fun to read.

But the two Demon books I've read so far are so over the top well done that all I can say is fun...fun...fun. This series could be considered young adult fiction because it's main characters are teens and the adults hold supporting roles, but don't let that limit you if you are in your 60s like me and are looking for great entertainment, this series is great!

Mike, Demon and the crew are still fighting haunts.

The SyFy channel is still paying top dollar and loving what the kids are doing.

The gang are still trying to get the FBI or Homeland Security to pay attention to whats going on. To believe whats going on.

Mike is also getting more powerful. Seems every time Mike gets clawed by a haunt he gets more power.

Mike is also able to telepathically communicate with Demon after the two of them go through a seam and into the other world.

Mike also has to deal with High School and whats going on there.

Laura is turning into a real PITA. She's pregnant with another mans child. She still thinks of herself as Mikes girlfriend. Nope. That ship has sailed. She's also jealous of Gail and takes every opportunity to try and screw with her.

Mike will always be her friend. He's even agreed to be her coach in lamaze classes. But he has no romantic interest in her at all and he's getting fed up with her attitude. Laura screwed herself by her own actions and that something she's going to have to live with.

This was one fine read full of haunts, teen angst and loads of action. Oh and Demon of course.

I enjoyed the second book, not quite as much as first one but still good. Maybe second book was a bit over the top, especially the football game. But still good fun and enjoyable reading.
