Editorial Reviews

Review

I love the way Bernard writes paranormal. Demon at War is the third book in this series and as with the first two there was not one dull part to this book. The teenage Demon Inc. crew keep you on your toes with humor and the way Mike and Demon (the dog) communicate with each other , along with the suspense of the team going after Haunts. They also find missing children for the police. If you love paranormal you will definitely love these books. I had a hard time putting any of them down. - Andrea Carver "annie" (akron, ohio usa)

There is not one of Mr DeLeo's books that 100 per cent hit the spot with me. This one was been a bit strange even for me. Books one and two were different but still really good. This one was just a bit over the top. I will still read anything he writes twice if not more just not this one. Maybe much better for the YA crowd?

Demon and Mike are able to communicate telepathically and Mike is getting even more powerful.

Stan and Jerry get engaged to Janis and Connie. Don't know how much longer they will be on the team. They are still a go for right now though. A very capable go.

Gail and Mike finally land in the sack and Gail turns out to be someone Mike can depend on.

Mike moved to the Demon Inc headquarters to try and get the news media away from his Mom andDad. The media are always around trying for interviews and anything else they can get.

Mike and Demon decide to take the war to the haunts. They also help out law enforcement and the Feds finally are beginning to catch a damned clue.

Mike, using his power, converts a huant. George is what they call him. He turns out to be pretty handy as Mikes new BFF.

This was one great read full of comedy, teenage romance, haunts, battles and Demon and Mike kicking ass big time.

    Five Stars and then some.

will be hard to beat. Not war and peace by any stretch, just fantasy, pulp fiction at its best.

Mike’s power is growing, but is he getting overconfident? While life continues for the group, the reality of the threat is beginning to gain real support, even if only through Mike’s powers! Can the fragile coalition galvanize into a cohesive unit? Can’t wait to see what happens next!

I'm not usually a big fan of paranormal but this series sucked me right in. I absolutely love Demon, the dog. He's the most sarcastic and funny dog ever. I hope there is a future story to look forward to.
