Editorial Reviews

From the Author

Cascades of Moonlight was my first book. It was written during a rough transition in my life. This was my own personal therapy and, while it may not be perfect, it helped me get through and I enjoyed writing it. It is now easy for me to understand how authors fall in love with their characters because I have done the same with mine. Parker and her friends story helped me to lose myself in a fantasy world instead of allowing stress to rule my life.

I enjoyed this book. Vampires, werewolves, love, betrayal it had pretty much everything you want in a book. There were several surprises that I didn't see coming. I felt a lot of anticipation because of that. There were a couple of twists I didn't expect. I liked the characters. Quinn is very romantic and I couldn't help but love him. This is a good story and I do recommend it. It is an appropriate book for the YA audience. I am looking forward to reading the second book in the series.

I was on roll, so I thought I'd give another YA novel a try. I was not disappointed in this werewolf and vampire story, that didn't always go in the direction I expected. Lots of twists and turns-- a bit more teen angst than I like, but since this is common for this genre, I took that into consideration with my rating. Well written characters, and a twisty-turny plot that was fun to follow- and often surprising. A good read!

Wow this book was kinda intense. So many things where happening, one thing after another that you had to read faster because you just wanted to know what was going to happen next. It was a good story with action and twist and turns, that the author had you guessing what would happen next. I couldn't put the book down till I had read it all.
Quinn and Parker were great couple thy where meant to be because no matter what situation they were thrown into they over came it be together. I can't wait to read the next one to see what happens next and what other twist and turns the author ha planned for her characters.
I gave this book five stars because the author kept me super entertained with her story and just kept me wanting to read more and more.

A love story where opposites attract. Vampires and werewolves abound in this sorry. Unfortunately it wasn't everything I was hoping it was, and the lack of longer editing proved to make it a difficult read.

A young girl was bitten by a werewolf and loved with the secret for nearly two years before a vampire moved to town and started attending her high school. He knew from the start what she was and told her so immediately. All she knew was werewolves were supposed to be enemies with vampires but her heart told her there was more to him than the information she had found online. Her closest friends end up becoming something other than human and life as a teenager proves to have many obstacles even for the paranormal. It's not a bad read, just not one that I would read again.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. I actually made the mistake a while back and read the second book first and found it a bit misleading because it was the second book! LOL. I felt like such a dumb dumb doing that but hey, its all good I finally got to the first one and then ALL of the pieces came full circle.

I knew from the previous book that I loved Parker and Quinn! I mean the love is there how can you not? I really enjoyed that the Author has a fondness for the Twilight series and you can see that reflected through her work. This made me swoon even more. Not that her book is exactly like Twilight or similar if that's what your thinking, its not. She just mentions it in passing and its just so awesome that you can't miss it.

Loved this series and I can't wait for the spinoff coming... hopefully soon! I'm super excited for it and hope to hear from many of the characters from this series as well as the new ones. I know its going to be awesome this Author always writes the best stuff.

I highly recommend this book. 5 big fat juicy stars baby!

I chose this rating because it is a good clean story, had just the right amount action and kept my interest.
I thought Parkers' parents were too liberal about her relationship with Quine. They seemed to be neglectful of her because they thought nothing about going out of town and leaving her unsupervised. I would still recommend this book to anyone who likes vampire and werewolf genres.

Great ideas, abysmal writing. And when I say "abysmal," I don't mean "it has a few typos." This book is a mess. No focus, no strong plot, and loads of info-dumping. On a technical level, it's borderline incoherent and in desperate need of editing. I'm not a nitpicker, and all I ask of a book is that it's competently written. This one needs a lot more work before it reaches that point.

The most frustrating part is that here and there I saw a glimmer of an interesting idea, but in the end, it wasn't worth the time or money spent on it.
