I have read every single book in this series and each one is terrific!! I hate it when I reach the end!!! These characters come to life on the page, the reader feels like they know the beach town of Babylon, it's residents and the Smith family and friends!! The story and characters draw you in so you experience real emotion as they struggle to overcome the aftermath of Jack's life and the choices he made...a seemingly never-ending list of ramifications that haunt those he left behind! This book was just as good as the first and every book in between...not an easy task for a writer to accomplish with such an extensive series!! Suzanne Jenkins is a novelist with tremendous talent but also obviously a great love for her characters and storytelling as an art!! And every book she writes is a testament to that love!!

I cannot stop reading this series. The characters are varied and intriguing, yet I've grown to dislike all of them. I compare this series to being an invisible witness to the most dysfunctional group of people in the history of the world. But it's so addictive. I don't know what I'll do if Ms. Jenkins stops writing it.

Similar to other readers, I wasn't able to put this book down. It was as rewarding as the previous 12 books. Reading Suzanne's books is like a double edged sword. You want to hurry and find out how the story will progress. On the other hand you don't want to get to the end quickly.

It is so great to be able to revisit Pam and her crew right in time for the Summer. Like every Suzanne Jenkins novel when I get close to the end of the book I don't want it to end!! I can hardly wait for #14. Don't miss the short story about Gladys and Ed!

I've read the whole "Pam" series and I didn't think it could get any better, but I shouldn't have doubted it. It just gets better and better!! I was so bummed out when I got to the last page of this latest installment of Pam's life. At this point I can't imagine Pam's story will ever end, and I hope it doesn't.

I love the new characters who appear and start to take root in the garden of Babylon. I can only ask Suzanne Jenkins to keep watering, feeding and pruning this prolific garden for the near and far future!
