Wonderful Christmas short story & first of Suzanne Jenkins books that I’ve read. The story of Reanna Morton, her very large family, dealing with the loss of her first child she borne at age 13 & kept this secret all her life. While alone on Christmas Eve, she was finally able to grieve that loss. Plan on reading more of Ms. Jenkins work.

A touching short story of Ravenna and conflicts with her family at Christmas. She is finally able to grieve over a loss that took place earlier in her life. I enjoyed this story a lot and plan on reading more in this series.

I so enjoy hearing the stories of Ravenna and her huge family. I would very much like for a second book of Ravenna's life with her many children. It's so quaint and was a cute story.

As a stand alone story, it was just ok. I wouldn't recommend it, nor did it leave me wanting to read the other stories in the series. However, from other reviews it seems this is a nice addition if you're already hooked on the series.

A wonderful story of love, loss, grief, estrangement and back to love. A Christmas story full of memories both good and bad.
Suzanne adds bits of real history and traditions in with the story and I look forward to reading the next one.

A well written short although a bit confusing...although that's probably down to my unfamiliarity of the storyline. Gives enough hints to want to know more
