4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 169 ratings

From USA Today Bestselling Author, Suzanne Jenkins!

The theme of life after a snowstorm is slow dancing, couples falling in love, or out. A new neighbor moves in next door to Pam, Lisa discovers love in an unexpected place, Tim finds comfort in someone who has always been there, and Sandra decides to appreciate what she has in her hands. In the city, a major shake up at Lang, Smith and Romney leads to the proverbial pot of gold for Sandra. Randy has a shocking visit, and in return, takes back a promise he made to Pam in Greece. In the background, Karen Carpenter sings.

Be sure to read the epilogue, Return to the Beach!

Love the family dynamics in Babylon. Just when I think I have everything figured out, Suzanne Jenkins throws us another curve ball. The Pam of Babylon series is just a great way to escape for a few hours. Even though the characters are fictional, it’s enjoyable to read about such a dysfunctional family and how all their lives are so entwined with each other. I think my favorite relationship is the one between Ryan and Pam. Can’t wait to see what his future is. Keep writing Suzanne. We need more Pam!

Another great read. This book has all the usual excitement and musical chair of lovers. Sandra is in her power hungry mode. Running over whomever she wants. There are two things that floored me in this book. One dealing with Sandra and Tim. On to the next book.

I just love me some Pam! I can’t get enough of her and all the the people who surround her. If this series ever ends, which I hope isn’t soon, I will really miss all of these characters. if Any of the networks were paying attention, this would make a great, addicting tv series.

I can’t wait now until the next installment comes out to see what transpires because there is a lot of drama going on. The kind you can’t wait for.

Even though I haven't finished it, this is my favorite book so far. Every chapter brings a new drama that I couldn't have imagined. Suzanne's writing makes me feel as if I know each character. Love some, hate some, but they are all so real to me. I can't wait to see how this plays out, but I don't want it to end! Thanks for another great read!

Suzanne Jenkins never disappoints in her Pam of Babylon series and this book continues that trend. I couldn’t put this book down and was so sorry to reach the end. I am anxiously awaiting #18. I appreciated how Suzanne skillfully wove reminders of previous adventures into this book as reminders pertinent to these new story lines. A number of new characters are introduced in this book, can’t wait to see how they add to the stories.

Great ending to the series. I did get a bit tired of Sandra and the details of her new business. Sort of don't care that much for her anymore. Good story and all the Pam fans will very much like this story also. Don't want to give any spoilers away, but the best part is the last few chapters. Would like to see more of Pam and less of Sandra and her family, except for Brent.

Lisa, 5 months pregnant with Ryan's baby, rents a house on the beach just a few doors down from her mother, Pam.

Wish I wasn’t so addicted to these books. As much as Pam’s whining, sisters impregnated by brothers and implausible story lines insult my intelligence, I can’t wait # 17.

First few books could have done with some editing.... Book 6 was pretty hard to believe, but......... there was something sooo compelling about all the books. I read non-stop for three days. I am hoping she writes more of the series, I kind of felt I was left hanging with book 7.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dreadful
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on March 5, 2018
I have read the whole series and at times I havent always liked the poor grammar / spelling / lack of proof reading etc but in general the books have been readable and enjoyable. But this latest book is dire. The characters have become less and less likeable and now they are just all horrible. A lot of signicant characters appear to have been forgotten until halfway through the book and their mention seems more of an afterthought. The ending isnt so much a ciff hanger, more appearing that the author got as bored as the reader and fell asleep! I have given up on the series and recommend that the author does the same.

1.0 out of 5 stars Confusing, unbelievable, awful!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on March 12, 2018
Have read the whole series of Pam books and have become more and more disappointed as time has gone on. The first 5 books were so well written and in-depth that I found it hard to put them down. Now, there’s absolutely no story, everyone is bed hopping at a totally unbelievable rate and most of the past believable characters are missing or just randomly dropped in to the story. What started as a fantastic series, with a heartbreaking story has now become the book version of a really bad soap! Minus the cliffhanger!!!
