She's a Librarian and enjoys writing in genres such as Historical, Fantasy Romance, and Interracial Romantic Suspense. Her pen names include Ally Fleming, T. Onyx, and Temple Carver. She's best known for her long-running Ramsey/Tesano multicultural romantic suspense series. In 2024, she started a new Novella series entitled "Not By Blood."

    I must admit that it took me quite some time to read this novella, I was sick and would look at my kindle every 30sec it seemed, because I just knew Altonya was going to come through...when I am in need of an excellent read to pass the day and leave me full of hope and love, I turn to Altonya, you see when you read a Altonya Washington book, you always want more...and I am always begging her for more. This book was meant for those who love romance, drama and mysterious circumstances. If you can't take love that touch you, with a Heroine that's kickass, and a Hero that has his woman's back, this is not your book, but if you are all in and love,LOVE well, with a littls detective work on the side,this book is Yours, and Amazing..... I look forward to more and more...... Just in case you have any doubt, Buy this book, and buy it now.

    I was given a copy for an honest review, but I must tell you honestly, I went back and brought the book again, because Altonya deserves every penny and more....

    The Chef's Reunion
    If you are looking for a quick read with some drama, mysterious and romance then look no more. Altonya has just the release you need. Brom & Dionne are off on a getaway, after their last date they needed some time to relax and have fun. As they look forward to this time with friends little do they know that another mystery is waiting for them around the corner. This mystery involves friends from Brom past. & Dionne are meeting up with Brom caterer’s friend. I look forward of the next installment.

    The why I read Altonya is written in this short must read. The author writes a woven tale of romance, suspense and drops of mystery. The Chef’s Reunion is a sequel and the answer to the mystery comes from a heroine like no other. The characters are vivid, the storyline is easy to follow and even the sharpest eye won’t see how this tale plays out in the end. Altonya never disappoints her audience. The Chef’s Reunion is worth the cost.
    I was gifted a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for a honest review. Just so you know how much I enjoyed the book I purchased the novella on my own accord. As a business owner I support and believe in Altonya Washington’s incredible gift to tell a cohesive story. She NEVER lets me down as an avid reader. Purchase this book and every other in her catalog she won’t let you down either. Fall in love with her characters and become a fan of her work. As she writes books that you can’t put down, page turners chapter to chapter.

    I was gifted a copy of this novella from the author in exchange for an honest review.

    I have read several of the author's novels, but this mystery was a departure for me.
    Brom and Dionne MacInnis are looking forward to a weekend getaway reunion with friends. All seems to be going well for a while until the unexpected occurs. Will Dionne, the former police detective, be called to utilize her critical thinking and logical skills once again? Stay tuned.

    The author has managed to deliver a very complete story to include camaraderie, intrigue, character development, and suspense in a novella.

    Chef's Reunion is the second novella of the Caterer's Wife mysteries, the first book is titled The Caterer's Wife.

    I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review and am very pleased and honored to do so. Although this was a short read it was all inclusive.Drama, mystery, suspense and romance were all present. Brom and Dionne always seem to be in place when activities turn deadly but their dual insight adds to helping authorities solve the mysteries.They are what I would call the Mr. and Mrs. North of modern day. Loved the character development. I would recommend reading The Caterer's Wife first to get background and a true understanding of Chef's Reunion. A great read and am looking forward to the next installment.Hopefully the quiet weekend they want will finally happen.

    Dionne an ex-cop and Brom a wealthy caterer are off on a getaway with Brom’s fellow chefs. After solving a recent murder both are just looking for a chance to have some alone and down time with each other. Little do they know another mystery is waiting to be solved. I love all the details the author provides, and I love the connection Dionne and Brom share. This short read is full of fun and reflective moments with friends, and glimpses of the special bond and love Dionne and Brom share.

    If you are looking for a quick mystery read then let me recommend Chef’s Reunion. I love a story with a touch of romance and mystery, and this novella offers both of those features. Plus, this story features two unforgettable characters, Brom and Dionne MacInnis, who seem to attract dead bodies. I’ll leave that right there, and you’ll understand when you read the story. Chef’s Reunion is the 2nd Book of A Caterer’s Wife Mystery Novella. I also recommend Book 1, The Caterer’s Wife. You can thank me later!
