- Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2018A Caterer’s Wife, indeed... Ex-cop Dionne and her caterer husband Brom attends a celebratory dinner for a dear friend. But during their time there someone is murdered. This is a short but exciting mystery story you don’t want to end. I love Altonya’s stories, she leaves you wanting more.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2018The Caterer’s Wife is a quick read, where you have a little drama, a murder and romance. Ex-cop Dionne and her husband Brom attends a celebratory dinner for her friend and before the night ends one of their own is murdered. Ms. Washington does a great job with this storyline, it will keep you turning the pages until the end.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2017This short read was really good. In a short story the author is able to touch on the love the characters share, a crime and a mystery solved. Although I would've loved for the story to be longer it was still a great short story.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2018As always I love Altonya's stories!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2017Good job, Altonya. I luv a good mystery mixed in with romance. Did not realize it was a short story when I purchased it, but it was worth it.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2018This was a very freshing, classic time nice story that was very good. I have not been disappointed by this as author yet
- Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2018AlTonya, just because someone is murdered does not make it a mystery. I am glad it was a short story because I would have been made at myself for wasted time. I am still confused as to why there was a grudge. I don't want to discourage you because with some writing classes I am sure you will be a great author. I will keep a look out for your next book.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2017Excellent short story Altonya. This was something different then her other books, but I liked it. I can't wait until your next book.
