- Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2012For those of us who are Lover's of the Ramsey/Tesano Saga, it has been a long time but well worth the wait! Smoak is gorgeous. The romance is steamy, with an added twist for Sabra and Smoak which is a little different for this series so far(It appears Ms. Washington may have borrowed a little from her erotica muse) :)! The plot thickens with Brogue, Gabriel, Roman & Imani and the revealing of the Tesano family's involvement in this saga. The suspense is building in this series, but the unyielding love Smoak and Sabra have for each other comes thru in true Ramsey/Tesano style. It was sheer pleasure getting to know Smoak and Sabra and catching up with the other members of the family. The surprise at the end of the epilogue is the real kicker!! Anxiously awaiting the next installment of this series!!!!

- Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2013I love the Ramsey/tesano series. A Lover's Hate was exciting, and suspenseful and if you have been reading the series it answered a good amount of question. I couldn't put the book down. Once you think you have the story figures out another twist in thrown into the mix. Great great series and read... One of the best series I have.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2012I must say that I am in awe of the writing skills of Ms. Washington. I absolutely loved this book. I have all of the books in the Ramsey / Tesano Saga and I must say, it gets better and better each time. Sabra and Smoak's story is one of love, revelations and eye openers. I was on pins and needles waiting for the book to come out and was not disappointed. If it were possible to give it 100 stars I would, but sadly I am limited to 5 stars :). I HIGHLY recommend this book, you will not be disappointed. I hope the next one is quick to be released!!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2012I was looking forward to finally reading the story of Sabra and Smoak but,I was a little dissapointed with the story. It seems like the logic behind the characters actions were not believable and I was left wondering why certain things were put in the story. For instance, why would Smoak's mother keep the fact that she was able to walk a secret, the reason given was not plausible. Why is someone killing people associated with either Sabra,Smoak or Kraven? It seems like the story of the island of run away boys might be playing a part in the murders but, Sabra has noting to do with that story line. I found the story to be a little confusing, I hope the next installment will clear up a lot of things. I normally really like this author and this particular series.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2016The only word that comes to mind after reading Sabra and Smoak's story is OMG!!!!!!
I wasn't expecting all of the twists and turns in this story, but that's just what I and I'm sure alot of readers are probably saying. It's like being on a wild roller coaster ride with all the dips, turns, twists, highs, and lows....you don't know when or if you want to get off anytime soon!!!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 24, 2013This was a great read and I am so happy that I started from the beginning and read everything in order.
This is probably one of my least in the series. It was kind of all over the place and I didn't get a crystal clear visual of what they looked like. I would've loved some more detail.
This book is still an amazing read, just not as jaw dropping as the previous ones. 4 stars for me !!!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 14, 2012I enjoyed reading this book much like all of the books in this saga. This is one of my favorite authors and I could not wait until this book was released. I must say that I have way more questions than answers. I think the only drawback of the book were that too many questions were left unanswered. I don't want to give the story away but the ending blew me away...All I have to say is please don't let it be so :).
