About the Author

AlTonya Washington has been a published romance novelist for 10 years. In 2013, her Harlequin Kimani novel His Texas Touch won the Romantic Times Magazine Reviewer's Choice Award for Best Series Romance of 2012. In addition to being an author, AlTonya also works as a college Reference Librarian. Writing as T. Onyx, AlTonya released her latest erotica Ravenous: Ruler of Perfection II in 2013. AlTonya Washington has been an author for over 20 years. Traditional, indie, and scholarly published, she's won the Romance Slam Jam EMMA Award, and is a two-time winner of The Romantic Times Magazine Reviewer's Choice Award.

    Ms. Washington does it again. Let me start off by saying, I am totally in love with this AWESOME series. This latest installment of the Ramsey/Tesano series is off the chain. As always, the promised drama is here. I love all of the character interactions and how "of course", the men are super overprotective of their women, relatives included. The plot and story flow are flawless. This book grips you and pulls you into a saga of love, guilt, mistrust, death, redemption, anger, greed and lust like no other.

    This book deals mainly with the interaction of Carlos and Dena; however, their history is very much a part of the other family members. Dena is a woman that has a lot of guilt about her past actions and scared that her husband Carlos won't understand. However, Carlos has a lot of secrets of his own, so he understands and wants her to come clean about them. The romance and sexual chemistry are explosive as always. Do yourself a huge favor and pick up this book, you will not be disappointed. This is by far a 10 + star read. If you have not read the other books in this series, please pick those up and read those first.

BUY THIS BOOK o.m.g the insights that Mrs. Washington has unleashed is mind blowing,I finished reading this book so fast that I thought I had written a review and just re-read it today and saw that I hadn't.......so my thought-provoking review is BUY THIS BOOK NOW and don't delay for I knew Dena and Carlos was special from the beginning I would harass Mrs. WASHINGTON to write this book and one day she wrote me back to say it was COMING I felt as if Dena could answer so many questions and Carlos knew all the answers that I needed to let go of the LOVE beginnings book it seemed so unfair that a love like Dena and Carlos would end and just begin without some answers so MRS. WAshington outdid herself once again and tore my mind apart the explosions never stopped not even the ending was nice it was all that Washington magic sprinkling more wrath to come

    I am a huge fan of this author and was highly anticipating the newest Ramsey/Tesano....I definitely was not disappointed!! When I read Vestige it left me with lots of unanswered questions. This book definitely answered some of them and had me on the edge of my seat with my mouth open. It was good catching up with the other characters and I loved the surprises thrown in!!! Like others have said..when's the next one!! Great job!
