About the Author

Jennifer is a thirty something lover of words, all words: the written, the spoken, the sung (even poorly), the sweet, the funny, and even the four letter variety. She is a native of San Diego, California where she grew up reading the Brownings and Rebecca with her mother and Clifford and the Dog who Glowed in the Dark with her dad, much to her mother's dismay. Jennifer is a graduate of California State University San Marcos where she studied Criminology and Justice Studies. She is also a member of Alpha Xi Delta. 10 years ago, she was swept off her feet by her very own sailor. Today, they are happily married and the parents of an 8 year old and 7 year old twins. She lives in East Texas where she can often be found on the soccer fields, drawing with her children, or reading. Jennifer is convinced that if she puts her fitbit on one of the dogs, she might finally make her step goals. She loves a great romance, an alpha hero, and lots and lots of laughter.

Amusing. Addictive. Gripping. Spine- tingling. Romantic. Full of suspense.
Those are just a few words I'd use to describe this book.

Detective kane green is all MAN, and a fine one at that. I mean who doesn't love a man in uniform?? I couldn't get enough of him being all caveman and persistent when it came to getting his “Tinkerbell”.
Sophia had her life planned out. Going to the Olympics was at the top with that being her main focus. Adding anything else would have been a distraction which is what she didn't need until Kane didn't give her a choice.
Total opposites, but complemented each other perfectly. Where Kane is an alpha, strong and wordly ;Sophia is shy at times, elegant, and innocent. They are seriously in my top 5 favorite book couples.
On another note I can totally see myself in 40 years being like the grandma's, or I at least I can only hope to be half as cool as they are.

I literally laughed out loud one second and wanted to punch someone in the throat (characters of course) the next. Jennifer never ceases to amaze me with her book writing capabilities. She will always be a one click author for me.

This book is filled with sexy, laughter, and mystery. I mean it’s the full trifecta!
Reading one of Jennifer Rebecca’s books you are always going to get something different. And I mean different in the best possible way.
Her books always have a swoony hero but her heroines are seriously the best. Sweet, Sassy, and a lot smartassy lol!

Attack Zone is definitely Jennifer Rebecca at her best!
    I can’t wait for what’s next!

I will be honest, I have had this book for awhile but I just didn’t think I would like any story more than Trent and Shelby with those Dangerous Dames. Well, now I feel stupid for waiting so long because I have been converted over to Kane F$@cking Greene’s side!
    .
This book is a cute little second-chance romance. Sophie is a Senator’s daughter and a sweet professional ice skater. Kane was a former hockey player turned Detective. There was “The Event” that caused some animosity between the two...😬. Will these two be able to set aside there differences? Will Kane be her knight in shining armor or a thorn in her side? You have to read this to find out!
    .
There is a mystery, a horrible step monster, a little heat, and a whole heck of a lot of snark! Oh and the gang is all there Trent, Shelby, Daisy and the grandmothers. I might mention the grandmothers have a new business that will definitely cause a bit of a ruckus!
    .
Don’t wait as long as I did to pick up this book! Grab it now for a short sweet second chance romance with Kane F$@cking Greene! Do I recommend? Yes! Will I keep reading? Yep! I need more Tinkerbell and Kane!!!

I thought I was reading the first book in the series, but clearly I missed Trent & Shelby's story. Nevertheless, I was about to understand and enjoy this book about Kane & Sophie without knowing exactly what happened with them. Then I was so wrapped up in "The Event" that I didn't see the exact ending coming! Overall, very good read!

Who doesn't want Kade Effin Green? I do, but sadly he is already claimed by his Princess. Sophie is a smart mouth skater that has some if the best sayings! She made me want to be a part of her small group of friends from the beginning.

Jennifer does an amazing job at mixing mystery and romance!

    5⭐️

Attack zone was my first read by Jennifer Rebecca and it definitely won’t be my last.
It’s the first book in the Murder on Ice Mysteries and I don’t think I’ve laughed so much reading a book. The wit and humour is brilliant, especially from the Dangerous Dames...I want so bad to be part of their group. Who would have thought 2 grannies cold be so crazy!!

I loved the MC’s too. Sophia is the daughter of a senator and is expected to marry a man to gain her father political gain, his plan not hers! That’s not the only stress in her life though, she is training for her final shot at the olympics when she has to help detective Kane F****** Green solve the murder of her friend.

Kane and Sophia are clearly made for each other together they are hot, funny and really adorable. I could get lost in their story.

Jennifer gives us everything with attack zone, it’s sexy, full of suspense and drama and just down right hilarious! I need the next book in the series ASAP.

I have mixed feelings on this. Great premise and interesting twists. But Sophia was annoying and Kane was hard to like. He seems to say a lot, but is devoid of action. There were also random characters that didn't seem to have a purpose. I'd like more backstory and connectedness in this novel.

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing.

I'll admit, I struggled with this book a bit but then I was so in to it - I pretty much read it in one (sort of long) sitting. I felt like I was abandoned in the middle of a story and really needed more background and details, but some of them were supplied over the course of the story and it was a really fun and funny ride along the way. Sophia sort of got on my nerves a bit - in her quest for independence (and a gold medal), she really did make some boneheaded decisions in regards to her safety. And Kane wasn't my favorite male lead - considering how he supposedly felt about Sophia, he did and said some real boneheaded (and mean-spirited) things. Plus, there were characters thrown in for the sake of drama (Lacy, Anderson, the Stepmonster, and Ashleigh) but their purpose was left largely unexplained as was any real resolution involving them. And Sophia's dad!!!! Oh - what a piece of work he was... However, I really did have fun with this book and plan on revisiting Dead and Buried and I'm hoping there will be more books featuring the Dangerous Dames and their hilarious antics. 3.5 out of 5 wine glasses.
