Building Love Kindle Edition
Sandy McNeal struggles to deal with losing her husband and her daughter, Patty's wild streak, but she decides to pursue her dream of owning a bed and breakfast despite her challenges.
Theresa Garland loves working on her father’s construction job sites, so it was natural for her to follow in her father's footsteps and work at his company after college. When Richard gives her Sandy McNeal’s contract, she realizes that Sandy is Patty's mother, a girl she’d had a crush on in high school.
Richard Garland ensures he gets Sandy McNeal's bed and breakfast contract. He knows she suffers from losing her husband but hopes to reconnect with his former love.
Patty and Theresa become friends as the work on Sandy’s bed and breakfast takes off, while Sandy and Richard reconnect and rekindle their old flame.
As the two young women become friends, Patty begins to feel things for Theresa she doesn’t completely understand. Theresa’s crush on Patty grows into full-blown infatuation, but she fears the feelings Patty seems to be having for her may be due to hormones more than real attraction.
This rebuild will change four lives.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2023M. E. Tudor has a wonderfully encouraging young love and coming out story with strong characters, good supporting characters and one truly evil young man. The story is a tough one in spots where a mother does not support nor even love her daughter, even pushes said daughter away with the trash and favors her momma’s boy son over her daughter and husband. The slime slips off of them both. The story is fraught with the anxiety the daughter carries as a result of this life long treatment. It is wonderfully written and heart warming.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 8, 2019An interesting story of self discovery, hope and love. Party's mom was fixing her new house for a bed and breakfast at the same time, Patty was rebuilding her life.
Along comes Theresa, the hammer that nails drywall and help Patty rebuild her life..?
M.E. Their has changed her writing style, from Judge Not to this book there is a BIG difference. Kinda miss the old M.E. Tudor. However, her newer stories does not subtract any of her awesome talent of story telling.
An excellent read, recommended for all ages.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 7, 2019I loved the two love stories of a pregnant high school senior, Patty and Theresa, a contractor as well Party's mom, Mandy and Theresa's dad, Richard. Both going on a camping trip, helping fix the house, having dinner and movie. I really enjoyed reading the way Party's raging hormones would get the best of her and she would kiss Theresa which completely shocked her and surprised her that she didn't mind afterwards. I definitely recommend this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 23, 2018This book cover several issues that I thought the author did well with. Bullying in school, drugs, alcohol, and sex. I thought the storyline and the characters were well developed. I liked that each chapter was from each Theresa and Pattys point review. You watched as these two young ladies deal with their past and present to end up with their ending they both deserve. I definitely recommend this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2018People read all the time. It can take us under three hours to read an entire book when in reality the author could have been working on the piece for months. There is so much that goes into making a story go from concept to rough draft to edit and print. Sometimes this process can take years, because you want to get it just so.
Everyone has their own particular tastes when it comes to what they like and don’t like in a book. You can’t win over everyone, but as an author, you try and listen to your audience. What in this particular draft are the people liking, what can I change in order for the story to flow better, how can I reach my intended target audience range?
Look I’m just going to say it; creative genius is creative genius. And this author hit it out of the park. I could construct all the reasons why I thought some parts were a bit boring but that doesn’t matter in the grand scale of things. Because I was still hooked....I was curious if t&p would finally realize they loved each other. And I just had to read the entire thing in one day to find out how their love story would end.
Because that ladies and gents is what a good author does. They should create a piece of work with characters that you can relate to in some way. And because you related to t or p or whoever you have to know how it ends. Because deep in your heart no matter how scared you are of getting hurt you believe that love is worth fighting for.
all in all it was a good read.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2018This was a very good story. The characters were very well developed. Theresa and Patty’s storyline covered a lot of important issues such bullying at school for Patty and even Theresa when she was in high school as well as teenage use of drug and alcohol which resulted in Patty getting pregnant. These were issues that were addressed in good taste and with positive outcomes. Overall, well done!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2018Reality based story, we never know where love will find us and with whom , we will share that love with.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2022I really liked the book and thought the love part of the storyline was great. I also know bullying is a very real thing but that part was troubling to have to read thru as an empath. This book had many facets and I can only imagine that the author had to keep close track of all the characters and everything they had going on from past to present. Very well done!

4.0 out of 5 stars Sweet story
I really enjoyed the story, it was sweet and a bit different- I haven’t read a teenager pregnancy lesfic before.
There is quite a problem with the tense that the book is written it. Even within a sentence the tense switches between past and present. It really just needs a good editing sweep to get it all into the same tense.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great story
I really liked this story, the reason it did not get 5 stars is all the mistakes in it. If you gloss over them, then you will find a great young live story.
