I've read a bunch of these delightful little novels and I really like them. The main character, Walt, is a retired guy in his 70's who runs a private eye agency with little or no effort involved, mostly because he's retired and doesn't want to be too busy. Walt also owns a rooming house across town and has his friend Mary, also in her mid-70's, who runs it for him. She enforces her rules with a steel baseball bat, which also figures in this book. One of the characters here is pushing for legalization of medical marijuana, so we are treated to some of the many arguments favoring this. We also have Colombian drug lords and Russian assassins and other interesting things in this story. Try it; I think you'll like it.

I love Robert Thornhill characters and their different outlooks on life. They are from oddly different backgrounds but are true to each other. Walt doesn't take himself too seriously and seems to always find something on the positive side.
I miss Ox. He has a very brief showing in this book but not enough. They made a great team.
    Thumbs up Mr. Thornhill!

The Lady Justice series books are delightful reads. I always know that if I am in need of a laugh I am assured of many in these books.

Author Robert Thornhill combines his quirky sense of humor in these mysteries as he delves into some tough subjects. In this story the mystery involves a dangerous drug called, Devil’s Breath, which can take away a person’s will leaving them vulnerable.

The host of entertaining characters helps to make each of these books a thoroughly enjoyable read. I highly recommend this series to all who enjoy a mystery with a dabble of humor.

(Originally posted on Audible.com) The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. This book was full of twists and turns and lots of witty one-liners and references only baby boomers (or someone that likes oldies) would appreciate. Walt and his gang take on Colombian drug lords and big pharma. Who will reign supreme? Lady Justice or the devil (aka Colombian drug lords and big pharma)? Get the book and find out!

I got this book as a free download, which was a stroke of luck since I love the series. As usual the Author weaves what is going on in the world right now into his storyline and this time around it was filled with a lot of action and his motley crew of Friends and Family helped get the bad guys. I was actually surprised at how much it bothered me that Walt and Kevin left the person they were suppose to protect from an assassin alone while rescuing his wife, that almost spoiled the book for me, but luckily everything worked out in the end. Very entertaining series and always a fun read.

I have read most of R.T. books and while a few have not been action packed, this one was a bit more exciting. These are easy light reading murder mysteries for those who don't like explicit gory reading.

This is a fun series with quirky characters. If you've ever lived in KC, you will have fun recognizing locations. Can't give it more stars because of the stereotypical portrayal of one of the characters.
