You Only Live Once: Devotional Kindle Edition

4.8 out of 5 stars 8 ratings

You Only Live Once is a devotional geared towards youth, teens, young adults and those of you who may be new to this spiritual journey.

It is filled with discussion topics and prayers, I hope will help you on this spiritual journey. It’s not denomination specific yet it is written on the foundation of God. It is also designed to assist you with praying while understanding what it means to be a disciple of Christ.

The bible says in Ecclesiastes 11:9, “Young people, it's wonderful to be young! Enjoy every minute of it. Do everything you want to do; take it all in. But remember that you must give an account to God for everything you do.“

It is my hope, by the time you finish this book, you will desire a deeper relationship with God.

Lakisha Johnson, native Memphian and author of over fifteen titles, was born to write. She'll tell you that "Writing didn't find me, it's was engraved in my spirit when I was created." She is an avid blogger at kishasdailydevotional.com and social media poster where she utilizes her gifts to encourage others to tap into their God given talents. She won't claim to be the best at what she does nor does she have all the answers, she is simply grateful to be used by God.

Lakisha Johnson, author of Christian Fiction writes from her heart.

Over the course of her career, she’s won the 2018 Drunken Druid Book of the Year Award for her book, The Forgotten Wife, 2019 Top Shelf Christian Fiction Book of the Year for Dear God: Hear my Prayer, 2020 Distinguished Authors Guild Award for her book, I’m Not Crazy and was a 2020 TopShelf Women’s Fiction Finalist for her book, When the Vows Break.

Lakisha writes from the heart, and this is why she doesn’t take the credit for what God does. If you were to strip away everything, you’d see that Lakisha is simply a woman who boldly, unapologetically and gladly loves and works for God.

Ask her and she’ll tell you, ”It’s not just writing, its ministry.”

I love everything about this devotional book. Even quoted some pieces to my friends. This was such an empowering experience. You broke things down so that it flowed throughout the book.
