A quick and enjoyable read in the Lady Justice Series. I never get tired of these books. There is always something new in each book and Lady Justice finds a way to save the day.

In this book the mystery surrounds a box that contains an object that could destroy the world if put into the wrong hands. Walt Williams, private investigator former policeman, gets into the middle of this mystery and finds himself on the run from several nefarious people from foreign governments. Will he be able to keep this mysterious box out of the hands of those who could cause havoc to the world? Who can he trust?

You will find not only interesting mysteries of current subjects but plenty of humor to lighten things up. Robert Thornhill has an innate sense of humor and writing style that will make you feel comfortable even in the tensest of subjects. Each time I read one of these books I feel as if I am coming home again. You can read them as stand alone books because the author explains many instances that come up from previous books. Settle back and enjoy the Lady Justice Series!

People are willing to kill or get killed over it. Walt leads multiple agents foreign and domestic on a crazy trail to keep it in his hands . Then Maggie holds an open house without backup . That was supposed to be a no no in their relationship . Few typos

Another great installment of the series, which is so much fun to read. There is always plenty going on and the book moves at a great pace, plenty of action, mystery, interesting characters and always sprinkled with humor. Very entertaining read, and even though I would recommend you read the series in order, you can enjoy it without getting lost, since the Author gives backstories when needed. Can't wait to see what trouble Walt and the gang will get into next.

I read several of this series and all of them were good, but this is one of the best I read so far. Hilarious ! Of course you can 't take this too serious, but then again, what IS the government up to ? I specially like the paragraph about vaccinations and hope, all these vaccine crazy people will read it ! When I was a child we had about half a dozen vaccinations, but by the time we got them, in first grade, we had had most of the sicknesses and have now life long immunity. It is all about the money Walt, all about the money !!!! Thanks for a great book !

There are all kinds of interesting characters in this book. We have the men in black from Homeland Security, we have the two Chinese spies, we have the Russian spies, we have the North Korean spies, and a man who is on the run in possession of a mysterious box. That man gets himself murdered and Walt manages to get the mysterious box. He didn't want it; he didn't ask for it, but he got it. Enter the whistleblower and his organization and the unemployed spy. All kinds of interactions here. One of the funniest scenes in the book is where Walt's father's girlfriend, age 95, bakes some cookies and prances out to where the Homeland Security guys are staked out in a car and delivers the cookies in the same kind of box as the one Walt has. We never do find out what was in the box.

Lady Justice and the Mysterious Box Kindle Edition
    by Robert Thornhill

Walt Williams and friends are back in the 32nd installment of the Lady Justice series. A mysterious box that could be a blessing to mankind or it could destroy it finds its way into Walt's possession. At least four countries send assassins to take control of it. This part of the box's journey begins in LA and heads east to Kansas City. Will Walt and company protect the box until it can get to where it belongs or will they be thwarted? Lots of action, twists and turns to keep the reader turning pages. As always I await Walt's next adventure.
