This isn't the first book I've read by the talented Suzanne Jenkins and it sure won't be the last. I began reading Portrait of a Marriage: Pam of Babylon #18 to alleviate my mind of personal troubles, but wow! - instead of feeling simply occupied, I became mesmerized with the huge cast of characters, their histories and significant others, present and past, and found myself deeply involved in the superb storytelling this author is known for.

Once I became acquainted with Pam and her various family members, this wonderful saga held me captive with enjoyment - laughing at the antics constantly going on between the players (pun completely intended), slapping invisible high fives to the characters based on their ingenuity and willingness to be overstep bounds without apology, and Gawd, how I love Pam's mother! She's a pip!

Portrait of a Marriage is a most satisfying, entertaining book and one I won't soon forget. The ending made me gasp, and I can't wait to read the next installment to find out what happens next. Five glorious stars awarded - well deserved!

Possibly the best book of the series. The book gets back to basics; the story of Pam. There are other storylines but they take second place. Many of the characters introduced are being written out of the story. I hope this isn't the final book; because the ending is so satisfying. Of course it did leave me wanting more of the story of Pam. Very enjoyable.

I have read all the “Pam of Babylon” series. Jenkins is an excellent writer and her characters are so well developed. I could do without the incest. It is not needed to convey good story.

I am so in love with the whole Pam of Babylon tome! It has been a fantastic rollercoaster journey of a family and of all of the ins and outs and ups and downs that they have endured.

If you have missed this family saga, you have missed a most interesting swath of life shown through the Smith family and all of their extended family, friends and foes! Read it now!

I just loved the ending!! It was so worth it!

Tragedy hits Pam's life once again which could bring Sandra back into Jack's business. Love finds Lisa and Dan and Julie's marriage explodes unexpectedly. Suzanne Jenkins is one of my favorite authors. I've loved every single one of her books I've read. Highly recommended!

Pam is strong, not to be taken
for granted! A lot going on but mostly about Pam which I loved. She was quite busy in this book. Both happy & sad moments and dealing with what was put in her path. What I wanted to happen did but you never can tell. Suzanne Jenkins keeps us guessing. I hope this series goes on and on. I enjoyed this book. I have never been disappointed with any of Suzanne Jenkins’s books. Looking forward to see what happens next in book #19!

As always, I can't wait for the next installment of the Pam of Babylon saga. The newest one doesn't disappoint. I enjoy the twist and turns that each book brings. I won't discuss those because I don't spread spoilers. Aside from Nancy Drew as a child, I haven't stuck with a series as long as I have with Pam. I always anticipate the next chapter of the coming and going in Babylon. Thank you Ms. Jenkins for entertainment.

No spoilers here. I loved the little look into more of Pam’s escapades; it’s like revisiting old family.
I would definitely advise anyone looking for a good bit of romantic drama to start reading this series.
Pam of Babylon #1 is always free and if you don’t like you don’t have to continue with the series, but I’m betting you’ll be addicted just like I am.
    Thank you Suzanne x
