    Clarissa Lake grew up watching Star Trek and reading Marvel Comics. She attended science fiction and fantasy conventions where she met many well known science fiction authors and attended their readings and discussion panels. They included scifi greats Anne McCaffery, CJ Cherry, George RR Martin, Ben Bova, Timothy Zahn, Frederik Pohl, Orson Scot Card.

    After years of fruitless efforts to get her books published traditionally, she discovered Kindle Direct Publishing and became an Indie author-publisher.

    While she loves scifi, she always thought there should be more romance so she started writing it hot and steamy.

    Skye watched her world crumble when aliens attacked Earth. She decides to live each day to the fullest by signing up to be matched with a male from another planet. Her cyborg match, Rader is everything she could have hoped for. I found the story to be interesting if just a little slow. It could have used a little more action in my opinion. The world building is amazing and the sexy times were hot, but the usual conflict in a romance just seemed mild. I love both authors so I will continue to read their work.

    Apparently, Clarissa Lake is T.N Quinn's pen name, as the inside info page lists her name as the author.
    As a former editor, copy editor and proof reader, I admit I'm probably more critical than the average reader. However, could somebody please read books all the way through before they're published! There are words missing throughout the story and "their" is used instead of "they're. " Rookie mistake. I expect better from someone who's been published previously.

    Rader and Skye met through the IMA and found true love in book one. Book two Chaytok and Alexa met through accident(maybe). Both good reads!

    There are two stories, I have so far only read the first one.

    I read Rader's Bride, and I really liked it. There is a rich sweetness, romantic love, and plenty of sexy times in this story, no OW/OM drama, no abuse, no sudden finding out the hero gets off beating the heroine with a belt and she suddenly finds out she likes being black and blue.

    So why only four stars? Because there are missing words, repeated words, wrong words, A LOT. Disturbs the story. The author didn't proofread, didn't have a computer program edit it, didn't even have a friend look at it, because there are so many errors that it would have flagged that help was needed.

    That said, the story is a thump thump heart melter.
