***OVER HALF A MILLION READERS HAVE BEEN PLEASURED BY THE TEMPLE VERSE NOVELS. NOW IT’S YOUR TURN…***

Quinn MacKenna is on the warpath to save her bartender. Bear-tender…whatever.

And it might just break Russia.

In every person’s life there comes a point where well-meaning people mutter empty Hallmark Card platitudes like “it’s all downhill from here,” or “the only way to go now is up.”

For Quinn, black magic arms dealer and potential Fae royalty, that time is now.

Fresh after the death of her sole caretaker at the hands of a once-trusted ally, Quinn must forge new alliances and rekindle old friendships if she’s going to recover and find her place in the world.

She just didn’t know step one would take her straight to Moscow…and into the ever-pleasant, rolling hills of Siberia. But there's one thing an Irish gal simply cannot do...leave her bartender behind. Even if it means squaring off against ex-special forces shifter bears.

The newest antihero in the Worldwide Bestselling Temple Verse by Shayne Silvers. Join Cameron O’Connell and Shayne at the literary bar to sip a dirty cocktail of feisty Irish brogue – with an unhealthy splash of monsters – TODAY!

While we learned a lot about Quinn in book 4, we were left with lots of questions but we were left with very different questions at the end of book 3. Upon her return from Fae, Quinn takes matters into her own hands regarding what Othello was helping her with prior to her Faecation, by of course immediately picking up for some international travel and perhaps a little inter-dimensional travel, oh and don't forget getting into even more crazy situations with more legendary characters from history.

While we do ultimately wrap up the bear segment of our adventures, it opens up new questions for Quinn in regards to Othello and her interesting relationship with "Hemingway". And of course while all this is happening, Quinn still just wants a nap.

This outing shows more development in how Cameron and Shayne are intertwining characters between the series by further developing Othello (primarily from the Temple series) with more back story, emotions, and overall relevance to the plot than we've seen from her in a while. They are truly making these characters cross functional which is just improving the enjoyment for the readers.

My lunchbreak ending alarm left me at many of cliffs and having to leave a couple of epic battles. We keep finding out a little but morre about our Quinn and Othello! Off to the next stop in the Templeverse!

Even though I confess to being a little tired of heroes who refuse to get along with whatever group they're a part of, even when their stubbornness flies completely in the face of all reason and good sense, I like the character of Quinn McKenna. She has a nerve and a resiliency that not only serve her well against the various supernatural forces in her hometown of Boston, but in the snows of Russia and the Otherworld, as well. Of course, as always, despite the looming threat of Father Grigori unlocking the Door of Heaven, the truth to all these stories is that Quinn's worst enemy is herself. She fights when there's no reason to, argues even when she agrees with the other person and finds things to be angry about, even when most people would just roll with the punches and blow it off. In other words, Quinn is broken in so many ways, most we're not even aware of yet, and it's inspiring almost, to see how, despite her doubts, her questions about her parentage, and her battered sense of self, she rises up every time and fights her way through it. If you liked the previous Quinn McKenna books, this is more of the same over-plotted, never-a-dull-moment excitement you've seen before, with Quinn emerging stronger and more sure of herself than ever, which I think, is the real journey Silvers and O'Connell want to take in the first place.

I would like to say that if you enjoy Nate Temple and his craziness, you will love this book. Quinn is a badass and I love her. I didn’t realize I would like her so much when I was reading the Nate Temple series, but really, Quinn may just be my favorite character of all Templeverse!
You gotta try it, but beware…you’ll get hooked!

I've decided after this latest installment of the Quinn series, that we need to chain Cameron to his desk and do nothing but write 24/7. Just kidding....mostly...I rarely get sucked into books these days the way I continue to be sucked in to the Templeverse sandbox that Shayne Silvers created and Cameron plays in. The humor and action keep me coming back for more. It is so much fun getting to learn different sides to characters Shayne made me fall in love with and Cameron gets to give us another view of. You can never predict where the action is going to go, other than that your anti-hero is going to fail miserably, be flawed and still have more depth than most novels ten times as long. Every page is packed with punch and characters that you are vested in their futures and then you forget you have to do adult things like pay the bills because the story must be read now. Worth the read, and the re-read, and then a third, and fourth.

I’m a reader of all fantasy genres, stories of earth past preset and future and of other realms. the TempleVerse novels have such a unique stance on combining old myths, stories, and fables in a more realistic adult version in a modern earth and other realms. Action, suspense, humor, adult themes, magic, told through such relatable characters with well-written dialogue. What more could I ask for in a book? These are simply perfect! Read them all!

This series is just getting better and better! I can't believe I didn't leave a review before kow. Quinn is certainly learning to trust her friends, and she is concerned when one seems to get into trouble. In her attempt to help, she gets embroiled in a battle with Rasputin himself! Don't be so naive to think anyone can do it alone. Sometimes, those who think they are better alone just have to accept that team work is the way to go. Well done Mr O'Connell! You are surely becoming a threat to Mr Silvers claim to the Master title!

O'Connell and Silvers are puppeteers, holding your emotions by strings that they tug hither and yon so quickly that your tears freeze on your face as your mind scrambles to catch up with what your eyes just read. They are thrill seekers, and will take you on an unforgettable ride. Fiction without fear. Awesome, freaking awesome.

Shayne’s Templeverse is magical. Shayne & Cameron writing together are spellbinding! This book is so vivid it’s like being there instead of reading. All the charcters are awesome. I love Quinn, she’s feisty, mouthy & just doesn’t know when to quit but now the events in the previous book have shaken her & she’s lost some of her certainty when under pressure which makes her so real in my mind. I can’t fault this book or rate it highly enough. I thoroughly recommend all the templeverse series.

The Cold War has definitely heated up. Never mess with the friends of an arms dealer whose personality makes Siberia look friendly in comparison. Though Quinn’s frostiness is cracking as a result of her recent loss and new found life experiences and hard fought knowledge. Definitely another great read from Cameron O’Connell.
