    Another winner in the Order of the Black Swan series! If you haven’t read any books in this series do yourself a favor and start with book one, MY FAMILIAR STRANGER, and read all of them in order. MOONLIGHT is fourth in the series and is every bit as engaging as the first three books. A fast read that is filled with everything I love in a book, laugh out loud humor, danger, true love and always unexpected twists.

    Any time you read one of Ms. Danann’s books expect to find yourself falling in love with her characters. Her skill at delivering dialogue that flows is exceptional! Sure, some of the characters use pretty vulgar language (Ram) but it’s not out of context and it’s usually funny (Ram). The characters in MOONLIGHT, whether they are main ones or subs, each have their own little quirks and personality traits. They feel like real people that might be living somewhere on this earth. I want them to be real!

    I’ve read a few reviews that complain that there is too much going on in each of the Black Swan books. How is that even possible? To me the fact that there are multiple subplots going on behind the main storyline is what makes each book flow into the next book in the series. Take for instance in MOONLIGHT we are going to be treated to the main storyline about Stalkson Grey who is the alpha leader of a large pack of werewolves. His pack is facing a serious problem that is going to need help from both current and retired members of The Order to solve. While this is going on there is going to be a surprise concerning Sol, head of Jefferson Unit, which is going to give Glen a unique opportunity within The Order. If this isn’t enough five French speaking vampires appear on the scene and are going to be instrumental in helping Baka. Also I can’t forget Ram and Elora have a major upheaval in their lives. Then we are treated to Storm and Litha’s amazing twist. Now if you haven’t read the first three books I’ve probably already lost you, which is why it is necessary to read the series in order.

    Every book in the Black Swan Series draws me in from the first few pages and hangs on to me, keeping me turning pages excited to see what could possibly happen next.

    Highly RECOMMEND to anyone 18 and older.

    I have been loving this series!! All of our favourite characters that we have grown to know and love, are ever present, continuing to provide much laugh out loud comic relief. There is so much happening in this story. Everything is changing, we have introduction to new characters, that I am really looking forward to in the next book. What I thought was going to be a book about a Werewolf King, was really a continuation of the central characters of the series. That is my only complaint, I didn't get as much Sexy Grey as I would have liked. What I adored from book 3, Baka's life history, his dastardly days as an evil vampire: that book was his (with a secondary storyline of Elora with the Wolves/birth/assassination attempt) and it was my 5++++ star favourite. This book Grey was one fifth of 5 moving story lines, which was mentally exhausting!! But I will say, there was no time for boredom, no no, because the amount of classic humour was priceless. And amongst all the action and Alpha Males, their were still lots of lovely romantic moments, and some very hot sex scenes.

    Book 4 of The Black Swan series takes us primarily into the life and love of Stalkson Grey - how he finds it, how he deals with it and how he manages to fulfill his destiny and finally find his happiness. The story is bittersweet, but manages to grab your heart and in the end you are cheering Grey on. I think every woman should have a Stalkson Grey in her life!
    Storm and Litha are also featured in this installment - along with their pending arrival and all the normal stress of expecting a baby...Well, maybe not so normal, since it IS a demon baby!
    All characters are featured, along with a few new ones - and we get small updates about them throughout the story. If you have read Victoria Danann before (and I hope you're not just starting with this book!) you know the next book will feature the lesser sung heroes from this installment in the series. Each book is a story of its own, featuring specific characters that weave together with the other books to create a well knit and ongoing tale.
    I highly recommend beginning with Book 1 - if you don't you will miss out on SO MUCH as well as be totally clueless about the characters and their relevance/relationship to one another.
    This series is a wonderful read and has fun, playful, serious, emotional, sultry, sexy and titilation all wrapped up in some fantastic writing.
    Can't wait to start reading Book #5!!

    I discovered this series in January 2013 & read the first three books in just a couple of weeks. Mind you, book 1 "My Familiar Stranger (Order of the Black Swan 1)" is free. I was immediately hooked. These books MUST BE READ IN ORDER. This is NOT a suggestion, if you start anywhere but at the beginning you will be lost. That being said, you will not be sorry if you are a lover of paranormal romance! Victoria Dannan is a master story teller.

    From the first page, as usual, I was laughing. I still have a hard time believing the animosity between the elves & fairies! Hope we will soon hear some more about that. This book will make you laugh & make you cry. There are so many twists & turns one would expect to get lost but never fear, Victoria keeps us all on the right track.

    In this book we learn more about Stalkson Grey & the Elk Mountain werewolves & we meet his love. We meet Deliverance, a Demon. And boy do we have some surprises in store there. We find that Sol is looking for his replacement & we are in for a big surprise who he assigns as the temporary Sovereign of Jefferson Unit. And, WOW, Litha's pregnancy sure has some surprises.

    All in all, a wonderful book & a MUST read for all who love the genre!!!!

    Oh my, really not sure where to begin. This was the most amazing book following on seamlessly from the first three. I tried so hard to read it slowly, to savour each and every moment but it hooked me in until the real world fell away and I literally couldn't put it down until the end.

    I don't want to give anything away as a lot of people won't have finished yet but can say that all the much loved characters are prominently featured in this book together with some new ones that I came to love too.

    Once again you have stolen my heart Victoria and I'm once again playing the waiting game until book 5 is released.

    This was an eagerly awaited book for me I love this series, they have lots of action, anticipation and love. I like the way victoria brings in lots of different species and that grey finally found someone else other that his ex mate, even though she wasn't what he would of expected his new lover to be.I'm at a loss without Kay (were was he as he wasn't mentioned). I would recommend this series to everyone.
