About the author

As a young boy I soaked up books as if they were water touching a dry sponge, but when I discovered the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien my world changed. I was able to find characters with depth and a world full of all kind of mystery, adventure, action, and a place that I could escape from the things I was dealing with on a daily basis.
When I write my desire is to give someone that same feeling. I don't write novels. I document what my characters tell me to write. I take time to get to know them, their history, their ups and downs, their likes and dislikes. Do they like coffee or tea? Are they morning people or night owls? I also desire for the world to be familiar, but yet at the same time dig deeper behind the normal "let's quickly write a book because it sounds like fun" world of writing.
My first trilogy is a look into the supernatural world of angels and demons. What you will not find is your typical Character "A" fights off Character "B" and good triumphs over evil. Reality is not like that, and even though fantasy is suppose to take you away from reality, I believe that there needs to be a different insight that allows us to escape into a good book. One that allows that escape, but also keeps us ground in our life. I believe a fantasy book can also provide truths that will make you challenge your views and way of doing life.
Book three in the trilogy has been written and is currently going through the editing progress. I am now staring a new military action series. Along with that working on a stand alone novel that will challenge you to realize that we get so wrapped up in our every day struggles of life that we forget the world is our own backyard.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2019Review for The Vapor:
I completely enjoyed the story line and characters in the first book of The Eternals series, The Nephelium. And, Nathan Parks didn't disappoint with the second book, which I enjoyed even more than the first. The Vapors lets you step further into the world of Arch Angels, Fallen, demons, the Nephelium and humans. You get to step back into the lives of the characters we got to know in Book One, as well as meet new ones within the world Nathan created for us. Sit back and enjoy the ride as there are characters that will resonate with us all in some way. I am chomping at the bit waiting for the third book, as I am sure Nathan will not disappoint.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2019A phenomenal sequel to Author Nathan Park's "The Nephelium." So much more action and character development that I could not help but relate to the characters more and more, especially Eve! In worlds that contains Gods, Devils, Guardians, Halflings, and many more, the struggle between good and bad is sure to keep you turning the page. When one's sense of self identity is questioned and pitted against loyalty, destiny, and revenge, there is no describing the chaos that follows. You simply have to make the choice to pick up and read this brilliant novel. Can't wait for the next one!

- Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2019The world is marching toward the apocalypse and those willing able able to stop it are few and far between, while those trying to make it happen grow in power. Desperate cause desperate measures and new allies emerge from hiding, but will it all be enough or will the world face the end of its time?
Nathan Parks is a fantastic author! I've enjoyed his books greatly and this one delivers everything I could want in a great book(except maybe mecha). I definitely recommend this book to anyone that loves science fiction, fantasy, mystery and intrigue.
