Review of Suzan Johnson Children’s Books
    By Enid B. Jones

Suzan Johnson has created characters for all her books that reflect the real, authentic life and reactions of young children. I have enjoyed all the books:

Sophie At Bat, Sophie At Dance, Military Family, Aiden at Basketball and Aiden at Soccer.

In each book there is a moral on gamesmanship or attitude of learning to reach out for the love around so that the world of the children remain intact even as changes occur. This is a fascinating aspect of the stories as it shows understanding and love for children. Like Aesop’s Fables the stories entertain as well as teach life lessons.

I can see the empathy required of the classroom teacher and media specialist working an elementary school in the stories. I think young children should get the chance to read these books and participate in the Aiden’s and Sophie’s responses to their activities.

Awesome Children's Book! I would like to thank you for including Kishon as a character in this book. Kishon is overwhelmed with joy knowing that you think so highly of him. He continues to build on his current skills while working to perfect his craft. You have done a fantastic job of showing what hard work, perseverance, and determination embodies. Aiden and Kishon demonstrate all the values of true friendship. The support they show one another is brotherly love at its finest. It is refreshing to read such an authentic children's book that highlights the importance of never giving up. I can't wait to read the next book! Great job, Suzy Q!

Great job on the graphics and storyline! Aiden couldn't foresee his greatness, but the people around him seemed to know he had potential. Will keep the 1st copy for my classroom library. Have to get a 2nd copy for a strong little angel, by the same name, who is currently fighting to live normally. Hope to get both of them signed!!!
